Description of Work: Do not build with Prairie Aire.!!! Very unprofessional and dishonest. I only wish we would have discovered his dishonesty before we were "in too deep with the building process". I would discourage anyone from dealing with this "bully"If considering building a new home; Make sure you do your homework, check out numerous contractors before signing any paperwork. Scott is quite the "con man" smooth talker," He seems like a nice guy at first. DON'T BE FOOLED!! DO ; CHECK OUT OTHER BUILDERS !DON'T; BE FOOLED BY THIS DISHONEST, AGGRESSIVE, ANGRY BULLY!! DON'T; BELIEVE WHAT HE HAS ON HIS WEBSITE, DON'T ; EXPECT A CUSTOM HOME, HE'LL DO WHAT HE WANTS AND TELL YOU TO "WAIT UNTIL IT'S DONE, YOU'LL LIKE IT." If you don't like it, "too bad for you,"!

+ -1 moreScott, the contractor, started out where we thought he was a nice guy and did quality work. Our first mistake was when we questioned to floor plan and Scott’s response was, “oh, you’ll like it” or “wait until it’s done.” If we questioned anything he got upset. He said, “Since you insulted me I’m really going to sock it to you,” and he did when he hit us up with $20,000 of overages on closing day. I would need another 3-4 pages to tell you about our experience. Scott is a stubborn bully, dishonest and won’t stand by his word or contract. He was also very unprofessional, swearing when he was upset. Everything on his website is untrue and dishonest. If I can prevent even one person from enduring this painful experience then I will feel I succeeded.
Description of Work: We contracted with Prairie Aire to build a “custom” home for us. When we realized how untrustworthy and resistant to change they were, we had invested thousands of dollars. We thought we were in too deep to get out.
