Description of Work: Everything done well, and as promised!

Description of Work: We had our trim replaced, interior doors replaced and rooms painted. In addition we had our fireplace brick torn out and redone. The bathroom vanity and cabinets were replaced.

Description of Work: Interior painting living room, kitchen, stairway to basement. Great assistance with picking colors, very detailed quote on cost.

Description of Work: They came and did an interior painting.

Description of Work: Kats Paiting Plus installed a back splash and ceramic tile in our kitchen. The back splash tile grout lines were thick and chunky. They are uneven in some areas. They started ripping up the kitchen floor which took them three days then laid the backer board which took them appr. three days. It took them three and a half days to do lay the tile. It was very uneven and wide and narrow grout lines. Kat told me she gives her work a womens touch and that she would be doing it all long with one other employee. She did not do any of the work. She sent two employees in which one was being trained. She did stop in every other day and check on her employees. I can not believe she did not notice the bad workmanship. Her employees would come around 8:30 and would take a break after 30 minutes on the job. Which they did all day long. I told her there were some tiles that were very uneven and she made them pull them up and re-do them which two of them were even worse then. On the last day I told her that I was unhappy with the job and she said she will do some figuring and get back to me. It took her 2 1/2 days and I received an email stating she was not going to do any more work or in my words correct the job. She said she would not re-coup the remainder I owed her which was $1,800.00. This job took 21 days with the week ends that they did not work. My kitchen was not functionable for that long. We took her to small claims court and did win the case. She was not truthful as she said we walked on it. That we did not do. We walked on it when we saw her own employees walk on the area. They left my house a mess, the trim work would not fit flush again as they had so much mud on the cupboards. They chipped up the hardwood floor and walls. Our whole house was full of dust as they did not protect anything. They put all their power tools and my ceramic tile on my brand new granite counter tops. I had to tell her twice they should not do that as the ceramic tile stone will scratch the granite. Much more but this will give you a good enough evaulation of the job. We did re-cupe the full amount but after the Court told her to pay in 10 days she ignored it. We had to send a sheriff after her funds in the bank and that is how we got it. Our cupboards were so full of mud from applying the tile as they touched them with their hands that were full of mud. Try cleaning hard mud off after that long of time. I would not recommend them for any job outside or inside.

Description of Work: This contractor painted the entire main level and most of the second level of our home. In preparation of the job, the crew repaired cracks and filled holes in the drywall and applied texture to match the existing surface. They fixed a botched job with bathroom tile and as they painted they installed some new light fixtures for us.
