I worked with Roxanne Erickson. She came to the house, looked at the windows, and took measurements. She listened to my comments and was quite willing to not sell me the most expensive window coverings. Instead she considered my wishes and my pocketbook. She was able to order them and have them installed before I actually moved in. I appreciate her knowledge and insights. She orchestrated a great job.

We worked with Travis. He is very helpful and friendly. He's not afraid to tell you what he thinks will look good or bad. Which is what I wanted because I find picking out flooring difficult! But he will do whatever it takes to make sure you're getting what you want. And he doesn't try to get you to buy the most expensive products.

Went to Carpet World and in a couple of minutes Brian came over and asked if he could help. He came over to measure the basement the next day had a quotation to me that afternoon. I stopped in a few times with paint samples and furniture swatch colors, and he helped me pick out a few samples to bring home. My wife and I decided on a carpet and he told me it would be shipped to their store for arrival within two weeks and it could be installed then. The other companies I checked out didn't have the depth of installers and were backed up for 6 weeks. I ordered the carpet and he had a couple of men come over on the agreed date and they installed the carpet, no problems, they cleaned up the carpet and vacumed the entire carpet. The installers were very friendly and pleasent. The installation was done on the date quoted to me, the price it was ordered at and done in a professional maner. I would have no problem endorsing Carpet World.

We shopped around for a bit, wanting a good deal for carpet. My husband and I were in the store a full 5 minutes before anyone approached us to even say "hello". I told the salesman that I wanted the top of the line pad and wanted a mid-grade carpet that would stand up to a cat and a kid. He did not give very good direction, stated pretty much all the carpets were the same, and then proceeded to just stand there and watch me for 15 minutes while I looked around. We picked a carpet that we liked and he did offer to price quote everything individually. We paid by check and we had an appointment for installation 2 days later, much quicker than the other stores. We were told that the installers would be at our house between 8 and 8:30 am. Well, at 9:10am, they show up. One of the men looked pretty scary, and immediately cursed in front of my four year old! They got to work installing, then about 45 minutes later, they just left. No explanation. I called the store and asked the salesman where they went, "Oh yeah, they went to a neighboring house up the street to finish something, they should be back in an hour." I also had a complaint about the carpet pad, which was left exposed, that it was very thin and did not seem to be "great quality." "Well, that's the better pad," is the only explanation from the salesman. No offer to upgrade the pad, no money off, not really an apology either. And why did he say "better" when I had asked for, and paid for, "the best"? The installers did return after an hour, and did a very nice job installing and making the seam blend perfectly in the carpet. They also vacuumed well and picked up all their things. Overall, the carpet is nice. I wish the pad was a little thicker. I wish I were a bit less of a pushover and demanded something be done. We had already paid in advance, or I might have had some leverage.

The new carpet looks great! The new pad underneath is markedly superior to the old one...so we love the new carpet. Kevin, the salesperson was very nice and helpful. The installers were great and cleaned up after themselves. The only negative was when we first ordered, we were led to believe the carpet would be installed within two weeks. As it turned out, the carpet was a popular color and was on backorder at the mill. It turned out to be six weeks. We were just about to cancel our order and go elsewhere when the carpet was finally delivered to the store. I would have liked the store to be more concerned about our wait. They didn't offer any adjustment only an apology.

We got an estimate for service to be completed in one day. After four trips to our house for screw ups that they made, they were FINALLY finished. Still charging us full price that their contractor (Gil) quoted. I felt Carpet World should have reduced the bill since they were not able to complete the job as promised. The manager, Brian (owner's son?) was difficult to work with and very RUDE!!!! Next time we will shop elsewhere. I do not reccommend using Carpet World for any home improvements although their prices are reasonable, their service is NOT!!!
