This company took care of my septic system for many years until a major repair was needed. Completely broke my irrigation system and didn't say anything at all about it when they left; landscapers were appalled when they finally figured it out. Asked for a credit on the repair to share some of the cost, and they told me to go pound sand. Not very nice - would not work with them again.

They came recommended, but they showed 6 hours past their appointment time. Then they were here for 30, did not open anything, stuck their rod in the ground, told us it would be around $1200 to fix, told us we needed to get a permit, and that they would stake the site. They never staked the sight, and then the sent us a bill for $150.00 for nothing. very frustrated, we have received the report from the county on repairs, and plan to use another company. I would not recommend this company.

They came out within 2 days of my request and did a great job. I would definitely work with them again.

Called David Brantley and they sent someone out as soon as they could (during winter storm). They checked everything out and found that the problem was not at the pump but with the circuit box and the power line to the pump for the house. This was fixed, with the help of an electrician, and we set up an annual checkup to make sure future problems are avoided.

A major repair like this creates a lot of stress, but Cory managed to make it as painless as possible. He took care of the repair negotiations with the inspector and answered all our questions along the way. His crew worked very efficiently and as carefully as they could - they did a great job. While I hope to never need his service again, I recommend Brantley Septic highly to anyone who does.

They have done work for several years.

They clean our drain fields, have been doing this for several years. They do good work, continue to use them.

We had to get an entirely new septic tank and drainfield due to our old system not being up to code (along with the problems it was having). They (Cory) worked with Wake County over several visits to devise a plan that would work with our yard and minimize the number of trees we had to remove. I would HIGHLY recommend working with them. They know their stuff, have been in business for a long time, have a good working relationship with the county staff and get the job done as expected.

I called them and got a call back the same day. The next day the technition called me and said he was in the area and wanted to stop by to take a look. They indentified and fixed a bad step down valve in about an hours time.

Was on time, courteous and professional. Careful to protect surrounding landscape, etc.

I called Brantley & Sons several times over following weeks. Finally one of the sons came out, spent an hour retracing what had already been done, was reluctant to accept what I told him but finally admitted, yes, we'll have to cut into the driveway and find the tank lid. He gave me a price, I agreed, and I haven't been able to get he or anyone else at Brantley to even so much as answer any of my many calls to the office and the son's cell, or my texts to the son's cell. If they don't want to do the job, they could at least be polite enough to say so and recommend someone else.

I contacted David Brantley and Son about maintenance for our septic system. Called 4 times over the course of 3 weeks and couldn't get a technician to call me back. Finally felt forced to work with another company.

David was quick to send someone to inspect the septic, but they did not pump the tank in order to inspect. Therefore, they could not tell me about the bottom or sides of the tank. I asked for the tank to be pumped so that I could get thorough inspection. David sent someone that same day to pump the tank and re-inspect. He gave me a verbal report that afternoon. They left large oil stains on the homeowner's cement driveway, so that was a hassle. Then, I didn't get the written report until the next week, when I called and asked for it. The report was sent immediately. So, why did I not give them an A or, at least, a B? I assigned a C because I had to ask for everything twice and and it was time-consuming. Also, the oil stains on the driveway reflected badly on me and caused the homeowner extra work. It was hard to ask the homeowner to let me send more inspectors out to their lovely property after that experience.

I requested that appointment take place before 11 a.m. -- should have asked what time they start. He arrived at 7:30 a.m., but did call ahead giving me 20 minutes to clean up before he arrived. Our service guy was a man of few words (though it was pretty early), but was very thorough when he responded to my questions. I mentioned we have a filter (most tanks installed after 1996 do) and he said he would clean it (I read somewhere that the filters should be cleaned annually -- need to look into this). I asked him to check our septic alarm; he said most people don't worry about it unless they are getting ready to sell (we are not), but he agreed that it makes sense to check it. He did a quick test, and said it looks like power is going to it, but for some reason, it isn't coming on. He said he wasn't equipped to repair, but I could call the office and they could send out someone who can repair it. I still need to do this. Wasn't happy with last company I used four years ago. Will not disclose name since some time has passed, but don't see them listed on Angie's list. That company tried to sell me on all these chemicals and other services before they began to pump. Feeling uncomfortable with them, I felt I should check tank after they pumped. There still seemed to be some and quot;materialand quot; at the bottom -- they said it is important to keep some in tank, but would pump out some more if I wanted. After this experience, I had to peek into tank when Brantley was finished -- it was bone-dry.

Have been using this service for several years and have had good service from them. Would refer this company to anyone who may be looking for their service.

The price was fair. They were communicative to lateness due to another job running over. They did everything they were suppose to do. Efficient and friendly and explained what was wrong with septic system and what needed to be done to fix the problem. I will definitely use them again.

I wasted countless hours and hundreds of dollars trying to find the cause of a washer machine backup problem. This involved 2 different plumbers and 1 or 2 other septic services.||David Brantley and Sons found the true cause (rusted/crushed drain pipe) and replaced the failed pipe. The charge was fair. They did a test afterwards and were happy with the results, and it turned out they were right.||This was a woeful problem that spanned 2 years, and David Brantley and Sons came through for me.

We had been experiencing some smells from septic tanks that were not sealed well, and we were getting water into one of the tanks from improper work from a landscaper. Brantley and company came out, diagnosed the problems, offered several alternative fixes (functional and decorative) and did great work. We now have a better looking backyard, and no smells from the tanks. Great work.

I do not have a note for punctuality because they come when they are in the area and not usually by appointment. They have been professional in our dealing with them.

I called and made an appointment and no one came or called. When I called to complain they said they would reschedule. I declined.
