Description of Work: I wanted to replace my 32 year old ductwork and 18 year old first floor furnace and AC unit. I obtained 5 different estimates for this work. Greg Tysor at Comfort Master gave me the most thorough explanation of all my options for the equipment, answering my questions and providing a complete explanation of the installation work. Greg was knowledgeable and professional. He gave me a competitive estimate and helped me make a good decision on a quality Trane system. | |Ismael Arreola was the lead installation mechanic and was also very professional and thorough. It was a substantial job removing the old furnace, AC unit, trunk line and duct work and replacing everything. It was done, as explained, over two days, though quite long days so that everything was running by ~ 7 pm of the second day. As promised, they replaced the boots as well as the registers and sealed them well to the ductwork so there could be no leakage of crawlspace air drawn into the house. They also did a nice job situating the furnace and the condensate drain line so that it would properly drain the system. They were careful and respectful working inside the house to replace the return air panel, thermostat and registers and did a fantastic job. | |The office was also very professional in setting up and reminding of appointments as well as following up on their work. I am pleased with their work and believe they really strive to provide excellent service. |

Description of Work: Installed high efficiency Trane Heat pump with back-up high efficiency gas furnace (in 2010 I think). Currently provide semi-annual maintenance checks. The installation was well done. The maintenance checks are thorough. We are satisfied with the quality of work and interaction with office/scheduling personnel.

Description of Work: Minor fix damper to allow airflow to upstairs zone. Dampers closed and no air to zone. Screws came out.

Description of Work: Comfort Master replaced three different HVAC systems in our recently purchased older home. One system in May 2014 and two more in August 2014. Additionally they did some repair and modification to our duct work for all three floors/systems. That's why the total cost I listed is $30,000 - that covers everything they did for us in 2014. All three systems installed were Trane high efficiency units. They were not as cheap as some of the contractors we took bids from, but none of the others seemed able or knowledgable about some of the higher end Trane systems I wanted installed. Some even offered really low end builder quality units from 3rd tier mfgs which I gather is how they were able to bid so low. I didn't mind spending more for higher quality two stage systems for our home. Comfort Master's estimator was the ONLY one that came to our home with his laptop able to analyze all of our system options and provide a bid on the spot. (In contrast the other contractors all said they would get back to me and when they did it was really difficult to get them to make any adjustments on their bids with alternative equipment without taking more time). Our experience installing the first system with Comfort Master in May 2014 went very smoothly and the quality of work was top notch. That's why when we considered replacing the other two systems 3 months later that we used them again. We did have a few hiccups for each system after installed but they were extremely responsive to come back out and make sure everything was working OK. Now after a year for the first system and 8 months for the other two systems we are doing well. Systems all work fine and we are seeing real savings in our utility bills. We also signed up for Comfort Master to do our annual maintenance so I guess we continue seeing them for the foreseeable future. One other thing, as good as their estimator and installation/service folks are, their office staff is pretty good, too. Very responsive and helpful. Makes a difference when you have a problem or need service. Yes - we would use Comfort Master again. We have recommended them to our neighbors who have used them, too.
