The basic electrical work went OK except for an existing dimmer switch, worth about $125, that Quick Electrical broke and have yet to replace. The big problem was with the AV equipment. They obviously had no idea what they were doing. The existing equipment that was moved was installed incorrectly in its new location. Our rear speakers did not work, the DVD player had only sound - no picture, our HD TV was not recieving an HD signal and the captioning did not work, and the sobwofer was connected with a wire just sticking out of the wall held together with black electrical tape. As for the new equipment, they basically could not figure the equipment out at all. We had asked that the owner, Chuck, come out to see the new equipment before installation to make sure that he had what he needed to do the install and to make sure he was familiar with the equipment. He would never come. Throughout the diasterous few days when the workers were attempting to install everything we again asked that Chuck come out. He said he would but never showed. We finally had to ask the workers to stop and leave because they were just pushing buttons at random trying to get things to work. We ended up hiring an AV specialist ouselves to do the work and our contractor (not Quick Electrical) agreed to deduct $600 (though the job did cost more) from our remodeling bill to help cover the cost of hiring the AV specialist.
Description of Work: Quick Electrical was hired by our contractor to do the electrical portion of a remodeling job. There were two main parts of their job for us. The first was basic electrical work including installing can lights and pendant lights in our kitchen, and moving some outlets and swiches and a doorbell. The second part of the job was moving our existing Audio Visual equipment from our family room to a new location in our bonus room. This involved wiring the bonus room correctly and then installing the equipment. Then they were to wire, mount and install a completely new system in our family room. We asked the owner, Chuck, specifically about his and his workers qualifications to do the AV portion of the job, knowing that this would require expertise in that area. Chuck assured us that he would be able to do all of it.

We have had no problems with their part of the project. They did do a call back to make sure everything was in order. We felt they were very polite. We actually have called them for prices on some new electrical work we are going to have done. We do not know this companies price for the work they did. We paid the main builder one entire price for the entire project.
Description of Work: Quick Electrical Contracting had a small crew of guys install all of the new electrical wiring throughout our new home. They installed the 100 amp circuit breaker panel. They installed all of the ceiling light fixtures and outdoor light fixtures. They also installed all of the 30 plus electrical outlets.

My husband is an electrical engineer and it takes a lot to make him happy when it comes to this type of work. He is very critical and he was very pleased with the work that was done. The company did an excellent job and we would recommend them to anyone. We are going to definitely have them come back and do work again in the future. The prices seemed reasonable as well.
Description of Work: We had a 36 x 40 horse barn built that needed to have all of the electrical work done on it. They got the barn ready to accept power. There were about 6 stall lights installed and three lights installed for the isles. There were also outlets that were installed as well.

We had a great experience with this company. They performed all of their duties perfectly. Everyone that we came into contact with or had any dealings with at all on this project treated us with great respect. We found their price to be one of the best around for the job that was done. We have no complaints at all, and we have had no problems with the work they did so far.
Description of Work: Quick Electrical Contracting wired a new 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house totaling about 1400 square foot of living space for us. They hooked up all of the electric outlets for us throughout the house totaling about 12 to 15 of them. We also had them install a 200 amp breaker box.
