Peter The Stumpeater is a family owned and operated business, servicing the Raleigh/ Durham/ Chapel Hill areas since 1996. We are a full service tree company, servicing both residential and comercial work. We are your one stop shop to cover all your tree care needs! We own and operate all of our equipment and utilize innovative techniques of tree removal which allows us to get into and out of your yard without ever knowing we were there. Our 70ft crane is just the right size to get the the job done with little to no impact to the yard, landscape or surrounding areas. When disaster strikes, you can count on us for 24 hour emergency response. We specialize in storm damage scenarios, and work closely with many of the local disaster restoration companies in the area. This is the second time we have used Peter the Stumpeater and will do so in the future. His prices are fair and he listens and recommends without being pushy. He truly does the best job he can. Jason's business gets 5 stars from us and we will recommend him to all of our friends.
Description of Work: We recently had one dead oak and 3 poplar trees taken down from our back yard. The trees were near the house and each one was over 80' high. Jason (Peter the Stumpeater) and his crew arrived when scheduled and had the trees down in about 6 hours. I had specific requirements about cutting a portion of the oak to firewood length which they did without any complaint. The other trees were hauled off the property or ground in their wood chipper. Jason's crew were very friendly and knowledgable and took great care to mitigate any chance for damage to our house or injury to his crew. They totally cleaned up the yard and blew off the driveway before they left.

The day I called, Andrew came to give us an on the spot estimate, no pressure. We called him to say that we wanted to use them and they came the following week. The day of the removal, they arrived early and got straight to work. All trees were removed within 2 1/2 hours including clean up. Really professional crew, you could tell they have worked many jobs togther in the past. I would highly recommend them and will use them again if needed.
Description of Work: Wwe had 8 trees removed, two of them very large. All stumps were also ground down after removal.

THEY DID WONDERFULLY. WHATEVER WE ASKED THEM TO DO, THEY DID. THEY REMOVED SOME SHRUBS AND BUSH'S FOR US WITHOUT EXTRA CHARGE. WE HAVE ALWAYS USED THEM IN THE PAST WILL MOST LIKELY NEED THEM AGAIN.
