+ 2 moreLast summer was an unusually wet summer so the estimate on start date was pushed back several weeks. Tony was great at keeping us in the loop in regards to when he could start on our house. Once his guys got started on our house they moved through the steps like clockwork. The quality of the work was exactly what I was hoping it would be. The guys doing the work were punctual, hard working, and neat. They cleaned up their mess every afternoon, which wasn't something I was expecting, but appreciated. Tony kept a close watch and made sure we knew what was happening and when it was happening through the whole process. In the end, the project took about two weeks and that was due to rain delays. There was nothing that needed to be addressed after the job was completed and I couldn't be happier. I will be using Osborne Painting again when needed and highly recommend them to anyone who needs painting jobs done.
Description of Work: Pressure washed the entire exterior of house including trim and deck railings (all parts to be painted). Replace all boards or siding needing replacing (none at this time). Hand paint the trim, siding, doors, and shake. Spray paint the second coat on the siding and shake.

+ -1 moreHe came at the scheduled time and I showed him what I wanted done. He also gave me some ideas on things to do. He also looked at my two ceilings that I wanted done but never gave me a quote. I was supposed to be emailed a quote but never received it. I called to try to get a quote but never got an answer. So, from my point of view, it seemed like he didn't care about my job or maybe it wasn't a large enough job for him.
Description of Work: I was going to hire him to do some painting in my home.

+ -1 moreThe whole reason I joined Angie's List was to find a good house painter and someone to do trim repair after having had a previous painter who was adequate but not great. I received estimates from two companies recommended on the site and chose Mr. Osborne because he was priced fairly and attentive to detail with the estimate, making suggestions for other minor repairs that I had not noticed a need for but were obvious when pointed out. I had been having a problem with carpenter bees boring into the wood trim at the front of the house followed by woodpeckers trying to peck them out so a lot of the trim was a mess. Instead of just replacing the trim with wood he offered a different material that was more expensive but well worth it in this case but he did price out both in his estimate. He was wonderful and professional. Initially I had contacted him around the beginning of pollen season. He pointed that out and gave me an approximate start date. Then he called again to ask if he could start earlier when the pollen cleared out sooner than expected. Mr. Osborne and his team were always friendly and never got in the way of my daily life. They were always punctual and were sure to clean up at the end of each day. They charged a fair price and were meticulous in their work. I was looking to use a local small business owner for this and plan to contact him again when it's time to redo the interior. Without hesitation, I highly recomend Osborne Painting.

+ 3 moreI have nothing else to add. The job done was excellent and for the large areas repaired and repainted the price was good.
Description of Work: I would highly recommend Osborne Painting. They arrived on time, were great workers and we had no complaints whatsoever. We have been in our home 24 years and they did a great job replacing rotted siding on our dormer windows as well as some areas of the house that needed new siding and window ledges. I felt that he was very honest with the repairs that were necessary and didn't try to add on work we didn't need. The entire house was pressure washed, flaking paint scraped and sanded and two coats of good quality paint applied. The caulking job was excellent. The house is large and has a screened porch and tons of railings. My husband gave Tony an old paint sample with what he thought was the color for the doors and shutters and it didn't match.Tony took down a shutter and brought it to the paint store to get the right color.The painters had painted the doors with the paint sample my husband had supplied and Tony had purchased that paint.They lost an entire day of work due to the mistake.He re did everything, bought the right color without complaint or extra charge. I'd like to add that it was pollen season and he suggested we wait until the yucky yellow stuff went away. He's honest. The painters did a great job cleaning up after the work was done. My husband is very picky and we didn't have to call them back for one single thing. Tony expects good work from his employees, treats them well and there is very little turnover. I liked that. He submitted the quote for the job in a timely fashion so there were no surprises.

+ -1 moreHe has been very good. First of all, I saw him doing work for a neighbor and he took his time to do that. He is very thorough and he does the work properly. I would highly recommend him. I would use him again in the future too.
