They were very professional and friendly. Mr. Jackson was very helpful when we had questions about light fixtures, ceiling fans, recess lighting & outlet placement. They installed the cable and phone outlets for us as well. We were very surprised that they were able to get all the wiring to the upstairs without any damage to the downstairs walls. Their crews showed up on time and when they finished they left every thing clean!!! When the inspector came to inspect the electric work he wanted to know who the electrical contractor was? He was very impressed with their work and even said it was one of the neatest jobs he had seen. We will definitely use them again in the future!!!

The work went very well. I like the fact that it was a family run business and they were very good with callback and punctuality as well as doing what they said they were going to do. They assisted us in getting a better price by getting some parts direct from the manufacturer.

Had then instal a generator in 2005 and I have a service contract with them. They come twice a year to service the unit and have been very prompt when there is a problem. Mary in the office is such a sweet person!

After this experience Jackson Superior Electric is the only company I will go to for future electrical requirements. Mr. Jackson answered my call promptly and was onsite the next morning. An estimate was provided the same day. The estimate was reasonable and below other estimates received. Upon accepting the estimate a county permit was obtained by Jackson Superior Electric the same day. The work was performed the following day and approved by the county. Throughout the process, I was kept informed of crew arrival times that were spot on. I will recommed Jackson Superior Electric to my friends.

Ms. Jackson, who takes the incoming calls and sets up appointments was very knowledgeable. She always called me back promptly. Mr. Jackson called me promptly and gave me an accurate quote on the costs and how much the electrical permit from the city would cost, which Mr. Jackson said that he would take care of getting. Mr. Jackson was also very up front with me in explaining that there had been some signficicant changes in electrical code requirements for the City of Raleigh that took effect in 2008, and that since my house had been built in 2006, those upgrades would have to be done in conjunction with any electrical work in order for it to pass inspection. I believe those costs added about $250.00 to the work I was having done, along with a cost of apprximately $75.00 for an electrical permit and inspection. Mr. Jackson explained those code changes to me, much of which dealt with requirements for spark arrestors and how wiring must now be run into the breaker panels. So, I would estimate that the actual electrical work that Mr. Jackson performed costed about $475.00, which I thought was very reasonable. Mr. Jackson and his helper showed up on time, and worked quickly. He got the inspector over there that day after he had finished the work, and it passed inspection with no issues. Everything works perfectly. They cleaned up everything where they had been. I called the permits department to begin with to find out who had done the original electrical work on the house because it was clear that it had been meticulously done, and I also knew the reputation of the builder in that he only used first rate sub-contractors on the house. I am very picky about how work is performed, and I would not trust just anyone to install outlets through my hardwood floor because these were expensive, site-finished natural hardwoods.

They reorganized our junction box and added a master switch facility since we didn’t have one before. We had recently added an addition to our home and they wired that new area.

They did do good work and were pleasant to work with to talk to and giving good information. The price was fair. We did have some trouble with the times but they had justifiable reasons for that, personal family crisis etc.
