Install took 2 days longer than estimated. Should have been 4 man crew instead of 2. Guys worked hard and did good job. Floor trench guttering and pump worked as stated during heavy rain. Had problem couple of months ago with one area of trench. Contacted company. Technician came out in couple of days. Recognized problem. Very well, good clean up. Before the work was done, they explain what was needed. Free estimate. Explain the warranty. If any correction needed they would come back and correct it.

They came quickly and completed in one day and the workers were very nice.

Very professional, arrived on time, gave me good options. I chose not to do the service at the time, however it was not due to anything the company did incorrectly. Based upon our interaction, I would definitely recommend.

Never received an estimate and work was never performed.

We found mold behind our finished basement walls and evidence of water intrusion. We had the wall product removed and then talked to several companies about solutions. Tarheel’s analyst was extremely thorough, spending maybe 1-2 hours of evaluation time. He generated a quote at the time of visit. Their quote was competitive in price and similar in scope to other bids. I do not perceive any sales pressure while recognizing that they do stay in business by performing work. The crew arrived on the anticipated date and worked over two days to break up the perimeter concrete, install the wall and drain system, and replace perimeter concrete. They also restructured our sump pit and drainage. The crew was good to work with and they had a clear crew chief that communicated well. Really everything went as we hoped. I had some follow up questions in the following weeks, and the office connected me with the same crew chief. He answered my questions. Since this work we had them come back and install a battery backup sump system.

They did very good work and cleaned out all the debris under the house the first day. They then brought in the floor jacks and went to work. They got the job done in three days with two crews. It was not a cheap job but they were very professional to work with.

Tar heel provided us with estimates on two properties (one of which we had planed to go ahead with) ultimately we were not able to proceed due to a scheduling conflict (on our part). Tar heel basement was supper accommodating. Things that stand about this company are their knowledge of the jobs, and the professionalism of their office staff. Thank you. Very Easy to work with.

I called Tar Heel Basement System about 2 months ago to make an estimate/repairs on my property in Greensboro NC I received a call from a very nice and friendly customer service representative who made an appointment with Ryan Arnett. On May 2nd the inspector Mr. Arnett came to my home a also very friendly inspector who came out looked at my home and had seen that my home was in need of repairs. I already knew this coming in to this whole situation this is why I called them to begin with since another company I had called for repairs had recommended them. Looking through their reviews I thought to myself this would be a decent honest hard working company to call and get repairs done. Unfortunately this has not been the case I had to call several times to my inspector/ and or rep to get up to date on whats is happening, I received a few calls from my representative to have an engineer come out on may 22nd . Tar Heel had advised they would have to have one of their contracting engineers come out and they would charge me $500 for him to come out in a few weeks. Come may 22nd I received a phone call from the engineer who came into the home and literally looked around for about 10 minutes and was very rude and just in a rush to get in and out of my home. I contacted Tar heel about his unprofessional attitude in which they listen but that is about it. I also was explain that I would receive an engineer report that I had to beg to get to get which took 2 weeks and looks like a 10 yr old had written it with obvious fact in which a 10 year old could see or any one with common sense and/eyes . I brought this up to bothor la my rep and inspector I am extremely dissatisfied with their service and feel like a waste of $500 of hard earned money. Nothing has been done to date it is June 15th 2018 and I yet to receive an estimate/quote on repairs or any thing about labor needed to be done. I am not making this review out of vice for the company but I am upset about their service or lack thereof. If your looking for a company for any type of foundation repair or work I ask you to take a close look at my review and see if it was necessary for my wait. Everything after the first inspection has been lacking and just frustrated at just sitting here waiting as I have someone going to rent my home in a few weeks and still in need of repairs. While the folks are very friendly the work ethic is abysmal I probably wont be getting my $500 refunded to me. I came in with good intentions of getting the work done since I read good reviews but I guess I was one of the unlucky ones

Adam and his crew were very efficient and timely. I knew that they would be there everyday and the place cleaned up at night. They were helpful and attentive to my concerns. Actually my problem has more to do with the project management than with the actual work that was done. To make the point, I will never let someone tear up my house without a plan in place to put everything back like it was before the destruction. That's where THBS falls down. Their work was fine and well done. But, I was left to myself to find someone to fix it all back. The two names I was given as possible candidates to do the repairs were either not taking jobs or didn't actually provide an estimate for the job. I feel I paid a pretty fair premium to have this work done by THBS, only to have to bang around for months after the fact trying to get someone to give estimates and commence the required repairs. I feel that a premium provider such as THBS, should have all of that in place or assured prior to commencing their work.

I had standing water in one small spot in my crawlspace, which is what I told the company before they came out. The representative looked all around my crawlspace. When we talked (mostly he talked - he didn't want me to ask questions of say much) he pushed a very, very expensive crawlspace encapsulation, with a dehumidifier, and barely brushed on the reason I had him come out. When I told him I would have to get other estimates and think about such a large purchase he become agitated and somewhat hostile.

The technicians (Edward and Clifford) were very professional, well trained, courteous, hard working men. They explained exactly what they were doing and why and were very particular with their work. We were very pleased and will know more when we receive a hard, substantial rain!

As city inspector quoted "fantastic job", Josh and Henry worked NON-STOP until the job was thoroughly completed. These guys worked so diligently, thought I was going to have them chew on my deer salt block for needed salt intake and extra nutrients to replenish for their next job! Seriously, my advice to anyone that has foundation issue, please contact Tar **** Basement for expert workmanship. And, do not wait until you have major and costly foundation problems.

Great service. As I already had a great vapor barrier installed they worked with me on a solution to do what I need versus what someone wants to sell. Given what I had in place already, they recommended a solution tailored for my needs that saved me money. Very pleased.

They are a very detailed company and everyone was very polite and good follow-up. It is quite costly and there is quite a bit of concrete dust associated with this type of work. They did all that I thought they could do to minimize the dust but there is no way to contain it all. The thing that sold me on this more expensive application is that the labor and material is warranted for the life of the home for the area in which the material was placed. So I paid for the future piece of mind. The price is the only reason the overall rating is a B.

I have not used their services yet. We have an old we're remodeling and we had some water damage in the basement. They were very helpful, on time, courteous and all of those good things. They did not end up giving me a price because we had to go to an engineer so I couldn't answer the price.

It went well, just some confusion over the price. The original quote was for 4 helical pier. It was changed at the last minute to 2. I received a quote for the change but it didn't supposedly include excavation and permit/engineering. I guess as the home owner I was suppose to ask if this is the total price. I would suggest anyone using their service would make sure the price includes everything. Other wise it was a great job.

Great! Work done on time and complete. Had one minor concern after installation about drainpipe placement and it was quickly addressed to my satisfaction.

This process went very well from start to finish. I was impressed with their professionalism and knowledge. They were very dedicated and paid close attention to detail in order to give me the service I needed and could afford.
