The whole process went great. They were always on time and friendly and the job was completed in a timely manner. They offered options for rebuilding our retaining wall that other companies had not. One of which was at a significantly lower price. In addition, they moved all of the pavers that made up our previous retaining wall (of which there were hundreds) to our back yard at no extra charge. We are very happy with the new wall, and would recommend their services to anyone.

The work was done over a longer period of time than expected, primarily due to the popularity and demand for Superior's services. Finishing the job took a bit longer as the particular crew assigned to the job was new and not seasoned to Superior's typical standards.

They did a fantastic job overall, and the road looks like new.

Dealing with Jon was a very good experience! He is very knowledgeable in landscaping, plants, grass, retaining walls..ect. He showed up when he said that he would and always stopped by to see how the job was going and made it clear that if I wasnt happy, he was not done! The original project was slated for apx 2 weeks but I kept adding things for him to do and with the rain setting in the project lasted about 5 weeks. I am very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend Jon/Superior Lawn and Landscaping!

Everything went great. Jonathan and his team are top-notch. When he arrived to do the initial assessment and estimate work he took his time and made sure he understood the problem and the best way to address it. He is very knowledgeable of all things drainage related. His team arrived on time and went to work. The one issue we had was not the fault of anyone at Superior. The company that marks the underground utility wires took longer than expected to do that part of the job. Jonathan didn't let it slow the project down, he said they'd dig it by hand if they needed to so as to avoid cutting any underground wires. They even repaired a break in a pipe that was caused when the cable lines were installed. I'll need to wait until we get a really good downpour of rain before I can assess how well the drain lines are working. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again if the need arises.

I have decided to update my review. Jonathan has contacted me on the responsiveness issue which I had rated as a C. This was a non-issue for me because of the excellent service I received, but his concern and professionalism have changed my mind on this issue. 09/28/2015- Update: Well, I just gave up on using Superior Lawn. Not dependable at all.

The job went well. Jonathon was responsive to my requirements. He came back three times to complete a couple of things that I wanted done again. He is highly tuned to ensuring the customer is satisfied. This was a good deal and I will use the company for future landscaping needs. 5 stars!

It was a great experience for me. The four men that worked on these projects were skilled at the jobs they did. They were friendly, answered my questions knowledgeably and work tirelessly to get the job done. At the end of the job there was some fill dirt left over and these guys went above the call of duty and used the remaining dirt to fill miscellaneous ruts at holes which they also seeded. I gave them a B on punctuality only because they didn't start on the day they were scheduled. It was because of rain the previous week that slowed them finishing another job, but they did not communicate the delay to me. But Johnathan did always respond promptly to my calls or emails to him. So the B is really a B+. I have more projects and they will definitely be called on.

It took a while to get this scheduled due to timing conflicts but once work started they completed right on schedule. Jonathan and his crew built two beautiful retainer walls in my back yard to fix an erosion concern that I had. They then took out a small concrete back patio (8X10) to replace it with a 300 sq ft. Cottage stone patio. Jonathan was easy to work with and eager to please. All the work was done to our satisfaction and, after the job was completed, everything was cleaned up and the areas that had been disturbed by the heavy equipment was leveled and reseeded. Jonathan gave me a fair price and the quality of work was excellent. I plan on using his company again for some future work.

Company did a great job with the retaining wall. They even did some extra things like getting rid of our old clunker storage building and graded our backyard. We never even asked them to do this! John and his crew did a great job. Would highly recommend to others wanting hardscape jobs.

Jonathan was very professional and did exactly what he quoted. We will definitely use this service again. I am very happy with the service provided.

I contacted Jonathan about mowing services and he advised he does not mow but does more of the architecture or landscaping side. He was very kind and although he was not likely to get my business this time around he was nice enough to refer me. I think when people take the time to be kind that good things should come to them and Jonathan was very nice and punctual despite me not needing his services. We have a stand of trees on a hill @ the back of our property. For many years, ivy had been allowed to grow freely there, and this thick ivy was completely strangling the trees. Trees were still healthy, but were in serious danger of eventually being killed. Because the ground-cover on that hill slows water runoff, we wanted to keep the stuff on the ground, but off the tree trunks. Superior Lawn and Landscaping did a truly SUPERIOR job of doing just that. It took two guys the better part of a Saturday to do this, and they did an amazing job of cutting the ivy at the base of the trees (there are about 7-10 trees in that area) without damaging them so that the ivy on the tree would wither and die. They also carried the debris to the curb for us, as requested. What made the job that they did even more amazing? The day that they did this was one of the hottest days of the summer of 2014, and the hill that trees are on is very, VERY steep. The men were extremely nice and professional (they had obviously done this sort of thing before and seemed well-equipped to work in the heat). They checked signals w/ us several times to ask questions and make sure that they were doing all that we wanted done. Concerning the estimate and scheduling for this job, all went very well. We communicated with Jonathan entirely by email--very convenient instead of playing phone tag. He willingly answered all our questions promptly, and checked in after the work was performed to see how we thought it went. The ivy left on the upper part of the trees is now dying off, and it's good to actually see the trees now! We're really happy with their work. These guys are FANTASTIC! They'd helped us after a bad storm the year before, so we were happy to contact them again for this job. And, we will definitely contact them again in the future.

I highly recommend Superior Lawn and landscaping. Jonathan always answered any questions I had and was very prompt in getting back with me. Anytime anyone tells me they need landscaping or drainage problems solved I recommend this company.

Went great from initial contact to estimate and actual work . Had one minor follow-up item that was attended to immediately and to complete satisfaction.

Work was performed in a timely manner. Everything was done according to plan and quote. Removal of yard debris and grading of rear yard was done as described. All of the stepped retaining walls were constructed in a professional manner. Jon was very nice to work with. I was not able to be on site for most of the construction process so Jon sent me pictures and updates as the project progressed. I would certainly use Superior in the future and recommend them to anyone interested.

Nice work on the retaining wall, on some of the hottest days of the summer. prompt and efficient work; nice cleanup. smooth operation. highly recommended. we'll have JB back for more work in September.

Excellent job!!!! Jon did what was needed, I would suggest giving Jon a call to anyone needing this service. Was on time and again did a great job.

The work was good (not great). He was professional. The price was fine. However, it was difficult to get a hold of him and it took forever (almost a month) for them to come out and do the work. They even promised us to be there at the end of the week and they didn't make it out until the next week. I understand a heavy work load but maybe he shouldn't be taking on new clients if he can't handle them.

We chose Superior Lawn based on the company's favorable reviews. Jonathan was quick to schedule an appointment and provide us with a quote for his services. We found Jonathan to be knowledgable and he had a good grasp on what we wanted to accomplish. Once the project began, Jonathan and his help worked diligently until the project was complete. After completion, Jonathan called to ensure that we were satisfied. We would not hesitate to use Superior Lawn again.

Jonathan came over the day I called, which is more than I can say for some other's I called. Gave me a fair price on the work, which was done while I was on vacation. after the work was done he sent me some photos of the work which I thought was very thoughtful. Very satisfied with the whole experience, and would definitely recommend them, and will use them again.

After reading all the excellent reviews for Superior Lawn and Landscaping, Inc on Angie's list I called them for some work in the front yard last year. I was exteremly pleased with the work and called again this year when I was looking to have work done in the back yard. I was having some issues with the stone patio flooding when it rained due to the hill in the back yard. The owner, Jonathan, is exremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He created a beautiful retaining wall with stairs up to the grill area and installed a drain and dry well to prevent flooding. Also regraded and seeded the entire back yard. Prompt service - came out within a day or two to inspect the property and I had the proposal shorly after. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again.
