Specifically, I need to know when I can rake up the straw that was used as a cover & how to deal with a couple of bare spots. The willingness to provide this "service after the sell" is very important to me & a strong reason for my overall satisfaction. Hopefully, my problem in now forever solved; however, if I have further problems I will not hesitate to call on him again. I will also gladly recommend his services to others.
Description of Work: I had a severe drainage/erosion problem in my back yard. The slope of the land is such that water from adjoining houses flows directly into my backyard. I had no idea who to call so I went to Angie's List where I found Superior Lawn & Landscaping and Jonathan, the owner. A day or two after I talked to him, Jonathan came over to assess the situation. Right off the bat, he showed me what was causing the problem & the steps he recommended to correct it. I was really impressed by his ability to quickly "size up the situation" & render a course of action. He later emailed me an estimate. The estimate was "in my ballpark" so we set up a specific date to begin the project. Jonathan actually started a day before the agreed-upon time. The work involved two days. Everything was done as previously discussed. Not enough time has elapsed to determine how effective the work will be in taking care of my drainage problem. I do know that the two drains that were installed have shown to be effective in preventing further erosion. Jonathan & his worker graded, fertilized, & seeded the whole back yard. As instructed, I have been watering daily and, approximately two weeks after the job, grass is starting to grow.

+ -1 moreJonathan planted 2 Holly trees for some privacy between my house and my neighbor. The trees were healthy looking and much taller than I expected (about 6 - 7 feet). I thought the price was great for such tall trees (based on prices I saw online from other companies, I was expecting shorter trees). He was very prompt to return my calls every time and was also able to plant the trees the day after I decided what I wanted. He will be returning in a few weeks to plant some more privacy trees on the other side of the yard, and if my HOA approves, I will be using him for a retaining wall later this year.
Description of Work: Planted 2 trees and discussed other landscaping options for my backyard.

Client satisfaction was very important to Mr. Branch and his staff. They have demonstrated willingness to agree on suggestions and corrections that needed to be worked on.
Description of Work: Mr. Branch and his staff, corrected and leveled the concrete floor on my back porch which was previously done by a contractor; placed a drainage to stop pool of water on my carport; and cleaned and reseeded some areas from my front and back lawn.

I wanted to get an estimate for servicing my entire lawn - from seeding, fertilizing, etc. I NEVER had a call back. 3/22 -- recieved a call from Jonathan tonight and he apologized but they did not get my voicemail. I have to give him credit for calling and wanting to make it right. He is coming by tomorrow evening. Hopefully I will be able to update this report with a totally positive responses. 3/26 -- Jonathan came out on the 23rd and I was very impressed with him and what he could do for us. We confirmed with him tonight that we want him and his team to get rid of our weeds, put seed down, take out a couple of bushes. I really hope that we will be able to use them for many years in the future. I will definitely update this report when they have finished. They will do the work after we have a few trees taken down. I am thrilled!

+ -1 moreI called the company and received prompt reply and service first week; communication has diminished recently.We agreed to meet at my house for specifics of trimming hedges and clearing overgrown hill. We met and chose a date for two weeks ago; service has not yet been performed or rescheduled. Also requested mow lines/stripes initially- still waiting. SLL has not missed a week of service but has trouble keeping the scheduled Thursday preferred date. Mr. Branch is very polite.
Description of Work: Mow and trim grass. SLL called on Sunday to re-schedule shrub trimming delayed by their equipment damage; they accommodated my schedule by coming early Monday morning without further delay. We have not yet scheduled clearing overgrown hill and striping next lawn mow. Mr. Branch is a very nice gentleman who wants to satisfy his customers. He did not accept payment for the job on Monday because of the delay in providing the service. Great recovery. Thanks Angie!

+ 0 moreJonathan is a great guy to work with. He came out and gave me an estimate, and provided some advice for areas where I wasn't sure about the best course of action. When it came time for the work, he and his helper came out at the time he said he would be here. They got everything done in a single day. This was surprising for the amount that they got accomplished, and they walked around with me near the end of the job and were willing to adjust some things that I pointed out to them. Everything looks better than I expected. The price came in right at the estimate that was provided to me. I will definitely be hiring these guys again!

Description of Work: Superior cleaned out overgrown flower gardens while saving roses, irises and a few select bushes. Also removed two large holly trees, mulched the gardens well and sprayed some additional overgrown areas. The owner, Jonathan, also connected me with a fellow who does brickwork, Noe, who did an excellent job with some patio repair and rebuild of a rock wall.

He does a good job and is always responsive to my requests. He has sprayed weeds, mowed my lawn, cut bushes and trees, and even removed a large tree stump from my yard last year.
