I could not be happier. The grass is growing beautifully and Jon has been quiet responsive to any of my requests. His crew was very professional and did an incredible job not only for my work but also in keeping the area clean as they were working. (I live in a cluster home development in a cul de sac so the area was very tight for working.) They were also very fast. The price he quote to me was the price that he charged. I am actually asking them to come back and do more work for me in early September.

After talking with numerous contractors about replacing a large retaining wall ( 90 ft long and 5 ft high ) next to our house we decided to go with Superior Lawn and Landscaping and boy are we glad we did . Jon and his crew did a fantastic job and the new wall looks great. One of the things that really impressed me was how available Jon was. I had a lot of questions before we started the project and Jon explained every thing in detail so I could understand. This project took about a week to complete. Jon's work crew cleaned up at the end of each day and always left the property nice and clean. I would highly recommend Superior Lawn and Landscaping. They were a pleasure to work with and I would call them first for any future work I need done.

This was my first time choosing and hiring a contractor. After speaking with Jon and his work team, I felt comfortable in their ability and responsiveness to my needs. They definately have all the equipment necessary for the job, the work was done within the time promised and the clean up was good. In my opinion they went the extra mile.

This was my first experience with a landscaper contractor and overall the project went well with only a couple of minor exceptions. Work was completed in a timely manner over span of 2.5 days. We had a few disconnects on the initial quote and agreement versus complete scope of work so gave pricing a B. This is partially based on scope of work completed, a couple of things not completed that I felt was in the initial agreement. Also compared my scope of work to others who have used Superior Lawn and recent feedback and felt like some folks received great deals compared to what was completed in my yard. Overall happy with the work that was completed. Yard looks much better and ready for new fresh plantings. Currently working with Superior to determine cost of plants and installation in addition to reseeding the lawn in the fall. Also considering other projects that I'm sure they could execute without issue.

Jon and his crew were a pleasure to work with. He was very prompt in getting us an estimate and we found it to be very competitive with other estimates we had gotten. He warned us when he gave the estimate in late May that he was booked out about 6 weeks, but we were fine with waiting. They were actually able to get to our job a little earlier than I had expected which was a nice surprise. Because of all the rain we had in June the natural area was very wet and there were some obvious issues with runoff and standing water. His crew adjusted their grading to try and fix those issues and took the time to do some additional grading that addressed the standing water problem we had. They were very flexible and accommodated my last minute request for an additional truckload of mulch. Jon gave us a great price for the additional work that we added on at the last minute which I really appreciated. Jon made sure he was onsite checking on his crew on a regular basis and met with me at the end to make sure we were happy. They also did a great job cleaning up the worksite.

7/16/13 Jon called me the morning after I gave him the D on the review, which was about 7 days after they had done the work on 6/13/13. He said he had been thinking about the poor quality of work they had done and now he wanted to make it right. He said they just got frustrated with all the rain is why the job was done as it was... in the first review and now he wanted to make it right and did not want me to feel disrespected. Jon requested a list that he could use to correct uncompleted work and I sent him one by email. Jon came out on 7/15/13 and he and his crew did complete the work as we had agreed on by email after my first review of his company. He even graded and cleaned off some extra limbs and leaves. Things look much better. He said he sprayed weed killer in the natural area on the vinca (periwinkle) . I am glad this is completed and will give him a B since there was such an issue the first time. I just wished he had made a list the first time and talked more with me about things the first time. I am glad he is doing well for other clients. ----------------------------- 9/12/13 I really had a D for my first review, but somehow messed it up when I updated the review and gave company a B. The update is that we are still finding glass that was left, Part of the glass in around a play area for our Granddaughters. ----------- I will invite anyone to my home to see how things were done. ----9/27/13- again I will invite anyone out to see how things were done..

I was overwhelmed by the state of our yard. I knew that if someone could just help me with the 'big projects,' I could get back out there and enjoy working in the dirt again. Jon gave me back a "little piece of heaven" and I am so thankful to him and his crew for this. He was polite, trustworthy and dependable. And he didn't mind that I changed my mind a couple of times along the way.. I was so impressed by the quality of his work, that I hope to have him back out in the fall to work on the grass. My advice? Hire him!

Jon took the time to understand all of our long term plans for the landscaping of our new home, and helped us break it down into manageable projects, based on our budget. He was very professional, leaving the walks and driveway even cleaner than before. The work was completed very quickly. We all know that excessive rainfall, or other obstacles can impact a landscaping project. Being new to the area, we were nervous about selecting the right person. When we called to discuss concerns about the effect of significant rainfall after the job was started, Jon quickly assured us that he stood by his work, and improved the erosion groundcover at no additional cost. Even after the project, he has answered questions about watering practices and fertilizer. We would highly recommend him!

Responded promply, set appoinment, showed up on time and proceeded to professionally clean three rooms. They were friendly and knowledgable. I would use them again.

Jon and his crew were very professional. They did excellent work and pointed out some areas that we needed to keep an eye on for problems/infestations. In some cases they asked about a preference before doing any work to make sure we would be pleased with the work done. Neighbors on both sides of our home also used Superior Lawn at around the same time frame we did and were just as pleased with the results. We highly and without reservation recommend Superior Lawn.

The owner was very prompt and professional. The work was done surprisingly quickly. It was done carefully and thoroughly and made back yard look 100 % improved.

From beginning to end, I was delighted with SLL's level of service, professionalism, and work quality. The design and proposal was exactly what was needed to address my issues. It was very important to me to have certain portions of this project completed by a certain date. My timeframe was very tight and the SLL team performed spectacularly. Efficient and professional, Jonathan consistently demonstrated solid project management skills, providing timely and responsive communication. The overall price was reasonable; but when I consider the price in relation to the level of service received, the value was simply outstanding. I generally consider myself a hard grader; but in this case, perfect scores are well deserved as this team exceeded my expectations at every turn. I will happily call on them again if or when I have future needs.

We are very happy with the work that Superior Landscaping did to fix our problem. The owner was prompt and very helpful in all communication throughout the project. He was very knowledgable, made sure the work was done to his high expectations, and quickly responded to any of our concerns. We were very happy with the price as well, as it was a lot of work for the money and they came in at a much better price than the competition. I would and will be using this company for future projects and would freely recommend them to others.

This house was built in 1976 and we wanted to update the look and the landscaping of the front yard area, to infuse a large dose of improved "curb appeal" and to include ideas for a lower maintenance yard. It was obvious to us we had to remove all the shrubbery in the front yard (that had been there since the house was built) and start over with a clean slate. Jonathan Branch, the owner of Superior Lawn & Landscaping visited our location, allowed us to share our vision of the "new front yard". Jonathan is a very polite, soft spoken, and knowledgable young man and was very helpful in providing us with suggestions and ideas to meet our "new front yard vision". Within just a few days he provided us with a detailed, suggested plan and a competitive quote for the completed job. We decided to go with his company over other competitors who had bid the project, not based on just the price, but also because of his suggested input, ideas and planing provided to us for the project. Once on site, in just a matter of two days Jonathan and his crew completed the entire project and we are extremely pleased with the finished project. Jonathan utilizes modern, up to date equipment, high quality materials, plants and seeds. He guarantees his work, the plants and our satisfaction. We are very pleased with our experience with Jonathan and Superior Lawn & Landscaping and plan to call upon him again for his suggestions and ideas for a future project in the fall of this year.

Researched landscaping on Angie's List and found that Superior Landscaping got strong reviews. Also liked that it was a smaller business and the owner was "hands on. Jonathan Branch, although busy - which is an indicator of how good he is - did a tremendous job. In the fall he tackled a pretty shabby yard, then returned in the spring promptly to do the next treatment stage,

Would not recommend his company to anyone in the future. I hope he is taken off of your site and no one uses him in the future.

He did the work promptly and exactly as requested and he cleaned after completing the job (which seems to be unusual nowadays)! I have already enlisted his assistance in general yard clean-up and in a patio project because of the excellent job he has done.

As always, Jonathan and crew did a great job. This had been on the back burner for six months while I was trying to find a tree service I could afford to remove a huge sweet gum tree with large roots that was the major source of the problems in the back yard. As soon as that was done I called Jonathan and asked him to put me on his schedule. They came out three days later and did more than expected. When the tree was removed, I had them leave the mulch to be used in an established natural area. As it turned out, what was left behind had someone else's debris mixed in and much of this could not be used. So SL&L hauled that away for me too! "Above and beyond" could/should be part of their logo!!

If the yard turns out as well as we expect, I will be very pleased. The weather has been almost ideal. They did exactly what they said they would do and kept me informed throughout the process, Weather caused some delays and they finished this past Friday. (March 15. I added some extra mulch and spreading to the original proposal, just as they started and he did the extra work for what seemed a reasonable upcharge. They did NOT skimp on materials -- and I've had experiences with other yard care companies who charged a full price but didn't deliver full product. Everyone I talked with seemed knowledgeable.

After seeing the excellent reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Jon about a proposed project. He came to my house and met with my wife and me, walking the entire yard with us. He asked for our input about what our vision was for the yard. He added his suggestions and within a week sent us a proposal and estimate. He followed this up with a return visit to our home and another walk around the yard to point out the details of his proposal. We were very pleased with his professionalism and knowledge of the shrubs he was proposing for the project. We accepted his proposal. Despite our having to postpone the project numerous times due to bad weather, Jon kept in close contact and as soon as the weather was cooperative, he started working. He and his assistant worked long days and they were able to finish the project within three days. I have had alot of complements from my neighbors and we are very pleased with the final result. We are looking forward to the Spring when the grass starts growing and the plants are in full color.

Jon pulled out the overgrown holly bushes and boxwoods blocking the front my newly bought house and put in some nice flowering bushes and rhodedendrons. He did an excellent job in selecting shrubs which will both flower in complementing colors, and laid out bushes that stagger by size and color in the new planting bed. Jon is very easy to work with and was quick to meet with me for the first time to see the site. He started the job 2 weeks later and was finished in 2 days. Excellent job! Good price, good equipment, and prompt. I will be using him again in the spring to design the backyard landscape.

Superior Lawn & Landscaping was quick to respond to our request for a bid on the job and followed up their quote with fast responses to any inquiry we had. So due to their Angie List rating and their interest in meeting our needs at a reasonable rate, we decided to have Superior Lawn perform the work. And we were glad that we did. The team was on time, came in under budget and performed the work in a tireless manner. They even performed some additional yard clean-up at no charge while waiting for material deliveries. So the excellent work performed, the revitalized appearance of the landscaped area and yard, and the actual finished product design made our choice of Superior Lawn the right choice. We look forward to having them do additional work at our home and can recommend them to others.
