Description of Work: I had a list of repairs I wanted made, including one tricky one, and one with possible options. Sink sent a plumber who was skilled, professional, treated me with respect, and did a great job, carefully going down my list until the last problem was solved.

Description of Work: I contacted the provider for an estimate and was told I would be charged $95 for that. Ridiculous.

Description of Work: I have used Sink for years for plumbing and electrical. They troubleshot bad outlets and replaced a faulty circuit breaker. They always do a good job.

Description of Work: They unclogged a toilet that we could not fix. They found small amount of cat litter which had made a sort of cement in the pipe. We are very happy!

Description of Work: Replaced Insinkerator with a new one..pretty expensive, but we knew the price ahead of time..done quickly and without problems.

Description of Work: In the morning of the 27th of Feb., 2013, the water meter reader knocked on door and told us we had a water leak between the meter and the house, and he showed me the green spot on the grass where he suspected the leak. We called a three plumbing shops and Sink Plumbing was the one that could out that day.. They called and came out when they said they would. They arrived in the early afternoon, dug a hole approx. 18"-24" long and located the leak. Then they discovered they did not have the correct fitting (5/8 ths to 3/4 ths)for the repair. He left to look for the fitting, came back an hour or two later and stated they could not find the fitting. He went to a couple of places and the office called several others. He explained that they did not make the size of black water pipe used in our construction in the 70's.It was late by the time he got back and stated that because they could not find the fitting, they would have to replace the entire water line by digging up the lawn for approx. 140 ft. This of course would entailed a much larger expense. He said the office would call with an estimate on the new work needed. Since it was getting dark, and rain was expected for the next day, he said he would return in two days. He asked for and was paid for that days work of $337.50 we were billed for a trip charge but I am not sure if we were billed for his time looking for the correct fitting, After he left, I called Lowe's Hardware and found out he was right, no fittings like what I needed. But when I next called Home Depot, I was told no problem come on over and get one. I think I paid about $6.75 for it. I bought two in case we had another problem. I called the office the next day and told them I had a fitting that would work. They came out the following day as promised and repaired the leak with my fitting, filled the hole and then presented the bill for that days work. $117.74. For some reason he got in the back of his truck for a while two times. Not sure what he was doing. We did not time him (which I will do in the future as they are paid by the hour). I don't think they were trying to bait and switch to get a bigger job, but I am sure glad I could call find the correct fitting, which saved us several hundred dollars by not having to replace the entire waterline.

Description of Work: They did three jobs (fix toilet, leaky faucet and replace shower fixtures). Good job done on all. Was able to come on the same day I called (which wasn't essential since there was no emergency services needed, but it was still nice).
