Maintenance man came on time and did a very through job. He picked up on an attic exhaust fan that hadn't been working for some time that other contractors had ignored. He later gave us a bid to replace it which we had done. Their price was a bit higher than some others but the work seemed more thorough and without extra sales pitches that we were starting to get..

Great job - thorough service, courteous personnel. Have never had a problem with the system.

Reedy's Heating and Air answered my call, transferred me to the estimator, scheduled an appointment for the estimate and showed up on time. Reedy's Heating and Air will be doing the job, however they are not scheduled until Monday, July 1st. Out of the four companies I contacted, Reedy's had the most reasonable price.

The last HVAC Co I got my maintenance from ALWAYS told me I had a refrigerant leak, and added freon to the tune of $45 extra per visit. Switched to Reedy's a few years ago, and magically -- no more leaks! Amazing.

We have used Reedy's to inspect our 20+ year old boiler/furnace each season for the last three years. Each time, the service technician has been prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. The only problem that we have encountered is that someone isn't always on duty to make service appointments when we have called.

Very professional. Great service! They went above and beyond to complete the installation the way I wanted (I'm picky too). Did several extra things at no additional cost. Always showed up on time. Cleaned up at the end of each day. Not the lowest bid but very competitive (I had five total bids). Quoted exactly what I asked for and provided good details and information on the equipment. Answered all my questions. Did a high quality installation. Insulated everything well. Inspectors had no changes. I highly recommend them and look forward to using them for all my HVAC and appliance work in the future.

I would certainly recommend their services. Their owner demonstrates good integrity. The pople they have sent have been polite and easy to talk with.

Reedy's was superior on all counts: they had the most competitive bid, their service and installation work was outstanding and the units performed flawlessly during one of the hottest summers we've had. Couldn't believe how much more comfortable the house was with the new units and we could keep the thermostats 5+ degrees warmer because they removed so much humidity. They were at the house almost 4 days doing the install. Very professional crew, prompt and cleaned up all the debris. The high efficiency units are BIG and they had to install new pads etc. They even realized they had to change the install a bit due to code (WS code requires elevating units if there are double doors to the outside) and there was no financial impact to us. I never felt nickel and dimed, they didn't expect payment until the system passed inspection and their guys were pros all around. I am a picky buyer who does his homework. This was a big purchase and I would recommend Reedy's without reservation.

I called to schedule routine service on the air conditioning unit in our new house, and left a message with the answering service. Reedy's called back at 7:30 the next morning and left a message for me. When I called back at 1 pm, I was told that the woman who does the scheduling was "out at lunch", and would call me back when she returned. However, she didn't call me back. I then called again the next morning, and was told that she hadn't come in yet, but would call me when she did come in. 3 hours later, I called again, and was told that she hadn't come in yet. We then decided to use another company. Finally, she did call back and said that she had been "too busy" to call me to schedule the appointment. Overall, this was a terrible experience and I couldn't recommend this company.

I called 3 services and they could not get to me today. I found a local service and called him at around 8:30 and he said he could fit me in. I sent him an email with an attached picture of the mfg label with sn, model # , etc. I called an hour or two later to ask if he had received the email. He said he had not gotten to it as he was doing paperwork. He said he would call me if he didn't receive it. told him to email me, as I could not get to the phone. Never heard from him. Called back at noon, and his secretary said he had just gone to lunch. I told her my situation, that I wanted to know if he was planning to come here, and that I only had 15 min to talk to him. She said she would try to find out. Never called back until after 1 where my wife was notified he would come around 2:30. He did show up on time and my wife (I was not available at the time) showed him where the furnace was. Did the job quickly and he was friendly. My only problem he was a bit expensive.

they showed up when they said and they unhooked the old heat pump took it all apart carry it out. and they had to put in a new system put in. the heat pump wasn't working right and our utilities went up to almost 400.00 for a warm winter...now its working very well....

They were excellent. I got an estimate from another company for $3000 and Reedy’s did it for $1500. Some companies want to change the whole thing and some just fix it. Reedy’s came in at $1500 less. It was a good experience. They have longevity in the community. It worked all summer without a problem. It was win win win. They did a good job.

My friend recommended this company for me to use for the heater service work. We have used them several time and have been pleased every time they come out to do work. We are currently under a service contract for them to come out and check the unit in the summer for air conditioning and in the winter for the heater.

They have provided the service since we bought the heat pump in 1993. It's been a long time. We have a maintenance contract with them which is $175.00 a year. We have an old heat pump and something had to be replaced so we spent about $200.00. They come out for the yearly maintenance and this past April was the first time that we had to have a major replacement for it so the heat pump has lasted a long time. They come. There haven't been any problems. It is pretty standard. You don't have to negotiate and discuss what to do, but they have been fine. I don't know what other companies charge. They come when they say they are going to. We have never had an emergency so I don't how they would respond then.

I am very pleased with the service from Reedy's. I wanted to get three thermostats replaced with Z-Wave capable ones and they were too complicated for me to try to install. In addition, the heat pump outside had started screaming randomly and so I called Reedy's based on ratings here at AL. The first pleasant surprise was that the technician showed up exactly on time. On two different days he showed up on time. That is a first in all my experiences with housing related contractors! He found and fixed the issue with the screaming heat pump right away and figured out that my zone controller wouldn't work with my new thermostats and would require a new part. I decided to go with it anyway so he left and ordered the part and was back 2 days later to finish the install. Very happy with the work.

I’ve been using them for my HVAC for a number of years. I pay them yearly and I have a contract with them. I pay $150 a year. They are excellent. The quality of work is very good. They are very responsive. Their punctuality and professionalism is very good. I would continue to use them in the future.

They were supposed to be all As, and they certainly were. Mike Hauser, the tech, took the whole thing apart, and I could see that there was lint keeping the air out. He cleaned out all the lint from the bolt, and he said that it would go for a while longer. He said the compressor might go eventually, but he didn't try to sell me one. It was about 110degrees the day he did this work for me.

Overall, my experience with Reedys' was excellent. I recieved a service call, diagnostic fee and quote from my 13 year HVAC provider. The quote was so high I decided to investigated another HVAC company. Angie's List pointed me to Reedys'. Arty came out and checked my system on his own time then followed up with me that day. He seemed to care for my plight and wanted my business. Without knowledge of my previous quote, he quoted 50% lower. After a couple of days of getting parts, Carl repaired the system in just 3 hours as opposed to my previous quote for the labor of 2 techs and 8 hours. The cost of the repair was the quoted price. I now have a new HVAC service provider that I can trust. I have already reccommended Reedys' to others.

They came when they said they would and charged what they said they would. They did what they said they would do.

I got an estimate in the spring for heating and air for a room that had been added to a house I'd just bought. The room did not have adequate HVAC and I wanted the room to be comfortable. Other renovations took longer than expected so I didn't get back to Reedy's until July. In July, I called and asked if the estimate was still good and if it could include removal of the wall heater. I was told it was still good and that it was not a problem to include the wall heater removal. I said let's go ahead and schedule it. They refused to schedule it until I signed a contract, which they then emailed me. I got it the day before leaving on vacation and didn't have time to read it, they would not schedule a tentative date until they had a contract in hand. When I returned from vacation I looked over the contract, added the removal of the wall unit and that the unit would cool as well as heat. They had a sentence in the contract that stated that I would pay court costs if they had to take me to court for non-payment. I added a sentence that said that if I had to take them to court for non-functioning equipment or damage to my property that they would pay reasonable court costs. When they received the signed contract, we scheduled an installation date for 3 weeks out which they said was as soon as they could do it. At that time I stated I needed a signed copy of the contract, which I had altered. A week before the install date I notified them I had not yet received a signed copy of the contract. The morning of the install, I called and asked if they were coming and again stated I had not received a signed copy of the contract. I was told that Ryan Hutchens would be out with the contract and he was leaving right then. The workmen arrived on time but without the contract. 45 minutes later, I called and asked about the contract. I was told he had been busy but would be out with the contract. He arrived a few minutes later with the original contract that was signed and wanted me to sign it. I stated that I had altered the original, showed him the changes and said I wanted the new version signed. He said he wasn't authorized to sign it and the president of the company was out of town. I suggested he call the president and get authorization. We stopped the installation and they left. I called that afternoon to see if there was any resolution. I was told that Mr. Hutchens wasn't in and he would call me back the next morning. The following day I called again in the late afternoon, since he had not called me back in the morning. He was in and told me that I had been "deceptive" by altering the contract and he was done, he then hung up on me. As a result, I lost 5 plus weeks on the renovation of this house. They had had the altered contract for 3 weeks but had not bothered to get it signed or even look over it. Basically they wanted a contract that would protect them, but were not willing to sign one that protected me if they installed non-functioning equipment or caused damage to my property.

It was very hot but they came very quickly and got us up and going again.

Our upstair air unit was not cooling properly. We scheduled an appointment with Reedy's for the day after we called. The serviceman that came was professional and efficient. After replacing our freon and cleaning our outdoor units, the upstair air conditioner is actually cooling the upstairs again! Would definitely use them again.

Heater went out on Saturday morning on a cold and snowy day. Called Reedy's first thing in the morning that Saturday and they had someone at my house within 2 hours. It did cost more than usual because it was a weekend, but Greg was professional and speedy and completed the job within 2 hours including his drive time. Performed a fix that he said should keep the problem from occuring again without having to replace the heat exchanger, which could cost thousands of dollars. Also said that he will look up the cost of replacing the exchanger and find out if the heater was still under warranty, so that the parts would be free. Very friendly, worked quickly even though he could have made more overtime money by going slower. Now I have a nice warm house again.

The last technician to come out was new and apparently missed a low freon pressure in one of the units. After I made a follow-up call about the unit still not cooling, the service manager was out to the house the same day and fixed the problem right away at no charge. The furnace replacements were done quickly and professionally (that was several years ago). They had to actually cut one of the old furnaces into pieces in order to get it out of the equipment closet. Their charge for the specialty furnace filters we use is very high, so I buy them myself locally for about half their cost. We also entered into a service agreement for all our HVAC equipment to save on preventative maintenance charges.
