Description of Work: my hot water heater was blowing fuses. It went thru 6 fuses in 4 wks. He completely moved my dryer out to work in the hot water heater and removed any Switches it had and everything there was perfect. We finally found the problem in my home electrical panel. Over the years some of the elec. wires had come loose and were arcing. He double checked all the other ones for safety. It only took 1 /12 hrs instead of the 2 hrs.I paid for so he said if I needed him in the future he would show me with a credit. Who does that anymore? .

+ 0 moreHe arrived as promised with a smile on his face. He was very detailed in his approach of this project. It seemed everything he did had a purpose. My furnace runs at top efficiency thanks to his knowledge of his trade. I thought charged a pretty good price, too.
Description of Work: The guy serviced my furnace's gas log. He cleaned all the debris from around it and made sure there was proper gas flow from each hole. The proper operation of all the switches was verified by him, also. He took about an hour to the servicing.

Description of Work: The company gave me an estimate to determine a better energy efficient approach by installing a heating unit. After evaluation, the company determined that more insulation could be added rather than the expense of a new heating unit. If I truly wanted to install a new heater, the company would perform the services at the estimate given.

+ -1 moreThese people know what they're doing, are willing to patiently explain it to less knowledgeable customers and to take the time to do their work well. I also appreciated that the repairman made one or two recommendations for work that needed to be done but put no pressure on me to set up further appointments or anything.
Description of Work: We have a boiler-powered steam heat system with radiators which hadn't been checked out in a few years. When the weather suddenly got quite cold, it wouldn't start. The Reedys' man came quickly - very lucky for us because the house was freezing. He painstakingly removed sediment-filled water from the boiler, waited for the system to get going, checked each radiator individually, and then gave me a full report on the system's status. My husband had some questions; the repairman phoned the next day to answer them.
