To come out to look at the stove was $67. After they did that, they added the labor and it came out to be around $200. The man was good but for what they did, the price was high. He unscrewed a little part and screwed in a new one. It was a quick fix. You have to pay for the labor, you have to pay for him to come out before he even touches it, and then you have to pay for the part. It's expensive. I guess you have to pay for good. He did an excellent job and he came quickly.

My upright older frost free freezer quit working about a week prior. Luckily, we had begun to use some of the food from the freezor instead of buying new food. It is a fairly large upright freezer and its real easy to let stuff stay in there too long and go bad from freezer burn. We only had to throw out a few things. So I checked Angies List and came across Midway Apliance Services. Midway is very close to where I live. I had used a couple of other services in Winston Salem, and although they were competent enough, their prices were much higher. I always felt as though I was paying way too much for what was being done. It was afternoon time when I called Midway, expecting to make an appointment for the next day or even a couple of days away. The person who answered the phone at Midway Appliance Service said she would have someone call me back in a few minutes. Within two minutes I received a phone call and I was told that they could be at my house within an hour. Wow, I never expected that.So within the hour they arrived and within 30 minutes they had my freezer up and running again. They had to replace the condenser fan motor. It was something I could have done, but I would not have known it was the motor that was bad. I have changed a defrost timer and a defrost element in a freezer before, but those were easy to diagnose. This time I just wasn't sure what the problem was. When they pulled the freezer away from the wall to get to the back of it, the tech said when he touched the fan blade, it started the motor back up, so he felt like the motor was bad. Breakdown of the service: Labor $30.00---------------very reasonable Trip Charge $41.00-------very reasonable. Other places charge much more Parts---------------------------reasonable again. Total------------$119.00 Midway Appliance Service will be first on my list to call should I need further appliance service of any type.

They did both in a timely manner and my dad said that repairman was great. And the icing on the cake? I was only charged a total of $120.77 for both services. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Midway Appliances for tahking good care of my dad.

The technician came out that day. He would have come earlier but I had to take my dog to the groomer. They arrived the first appointment after lunch. He was able to fix it that day as well, when they initially needed to order another part. The price was very reasonable compared to Sears or GE repair people.

Repairman was on time, very professional. He looked at the problem, fixed it, them gave my advice on what to do the next time! Price was very reasonable, and I will use them again.

They knew what they were doing and did a quick and neat job of replacing the belt.

The price depends on the job.

THIS GUY CAME RIGHT OUT. WE COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET RID OF THE ANIMAL OURSELVES. HE WAS HONEST AND STRAIGHT FORWARD. HE TOOK CARE OF THE SITUATION AND WE WERE RELIEVED.

Midway Appliance did a good job. The parts they needed were already on their truck which was very convenient. I found them to be courteous and professional as well as very competent.

I thought that they did a great job. Midway was the first company to call me back when they said they would and in the time frame that they gave. I wasn't going to have work done on the dryer but he replaced the belt for me too.

I didn't like the price for them to diagnose the problem. They charged me more for installation than what the part cost. They are the only company that I could find that would work on a Saturday.
