I have 20 year old Ethan Allen recliner that 'broke'. I called Mr. McNealy and he came at the time he promised and analyzed the problem...suggested that since the leather is in excellent condition that a repair would make sense. He contacted Ethan Allen in an attempt to order the part (Reclining Mechanism Assembly) but was told that I would have to go to the store to order it. He gave me the correct parts number so I was able to place the order. Once I secured the parts, he returned and replaced the broken RMA. He and his son worked carefully, efficiently and professionally. I highly recommend this company.

I contacted them a month ago, got two follow up calls to tell me things were delayed, and the last time was a text about the truck being driven was messed up so they wouldn’t be able to come. I have not heard from them since, so the repairs still haven’t happened. I am still in need of repair services, likely not going with these guys.

This went very well. It is so convenient for the repair person to come to the home instead of worrying about transporting fragile, damaged, older furniture. The detached leg was repaired and re-attached smoothly and neatly. Mr. McNealy also reinforced the other three legs as two of them were loose and advised me on how to clean and polish the desk. He and his son were courteous, calm and efficient. Very nice to deal with. The arrived exactly at the appointment time.

It can take a while, but McNealy does top quality work. Price is a little higher, but I think his work is worth it...

We were and are very pleased with his work, and will soon ask him to do some more work. He came when he said he would, finished the work on time, and charged a reasonable fee for both jobs. The price shown is for the SOFA, which was a large piece.

Excellent. The work is perfect and the chairs look fantastic. Mark also went above and beyond and picked up the fabric as well as picked up and delivered the chairs for a very small fee. Great workmanship and great service.

Contacted McNealy's from Angie's list and made appointment for repair. First go - repaired one leg but that did not solve table problem. Took base back to shop and they removed and re-set all legs. Upon return, polished and oiled several pieces of very old furniture which brought out light and luster in the woods and covered scratches. Mr. & Mrs. McNealy seem very knowledgeable and experienced.

I didn't think the broken drawer front could be repaired and finish touched up so well. Same with mirror frame. Have to examine hard to see where prior damage was if it can be seen at all. I'm not sure exactly what the price was but it was reasonable. I had a crazy schedule and we actually had to arrange a quick meet for both pick up and delivery away from my home. It all went on time as promised.

Very responsive. Punctual, professional and helpful. Was able to "rig" my swivel rocker so that it did not lean so far back every time you sat down in it. Saved me from having to buy a new base.

Mark McNealy did a fantastic job! It looks better than when I first bought it ten years ago. I'm very happy with his work. He was professional in all ways -- pick-up, communication, drop-off, invoicing, etc.

I made contact with McNealy's Mobile Furniture Repair by phone and, asked for an e-mail address to show what I wanted to have done by a show of pictures. I was so happy he accepted the job because I had been putting this off for a while. The table top and seat bottoms needed to be refinished. There was an area on the table where the finish was worn off because, (my husband seats in the chair when I'm not there and I'm in the chair when he's not there, we are reading the paper at different times). We had caused ink from the newspaper to become embedded in the grain of the wood and, oils from our skin and skin dampness damaged the finish as well. The seat bottom became worned from over the years the finished rubbed away. The pictures were e-mailed to him on 05/28/13; the kitchen set was picked up on that Saturday( a good time to pick set up because, we would be out of town). The following week we had rain almost every day so I knew refinishing furniture would be hard because of the humidity. Mr. McNealy worked very carefully on our set making sure the finish would not be harm. Our set was delivered on 06/09/13(great turn around time even with the weather we had). I was very satisfied with the refinished on our oak kitchen set. I was told how to take care of the finish, the time period when I could set placemats...etc on the table and when cleaning table wipe table in the direction of the grain. I was so impressed with his work, he is doing an antique secretary given to by my college roommate who is now deceased.

I called and left a message on the answering machine, and Mr. McNealy returned my call later the same evening. We scheduled a time for him to come out to my house two days later. He was professional in every regard, both on the phone as well as in person. He did a great job on the chairs, and he also left a list of the various types of repair work that he does. There are many more things on the list in addition to just minor furniture repair. I will definitely call him again in the future.
