Knights Top Line has been professional, courteous and has taken ownership of the responsibility to repair and service the HVAC. Knights Top Line is not responsible for the poor quality of the York product but the company owner Greg, and his staff has taken an enormous amount of time and effort to keep the system up and running. I have purchased their premium annual service plan each and every year and Greg and his team have stood by their word and come out and repaired the HVAC quickly every time I have called. If you want an HVAC provider that delivers the best service in the Triad, I can highly and confidently recommend Knights Top Line and Greg's team. My house is on the southeast side of Greensboro and Knights Top Line are in Winston Salem and they still travel that 40 mile round trip and show up on time and get the work done quickly, cleanly and professionally. You cannot do better than Knights Top Line for your HVAC system! Thank you Greg and thanks to your team, you are the best in the Triad because you stand by your word and deliver superior customer service. They are really good. I like them, they are really efficient. If it was not for them I would have to replace it. When they come, they check it all out and write out a receipt. They know what they are doing.

Their prices were about average and I still have problems with the unit. I will not use them again in the future.

In April of 2008 I had a Trane heat pump, handling system, and ductwork installed by Knight Topline Services Inc. out of Winston-Salem, N.C. While the ductwork was being installed, one of the workers must have pushed the living room ceiling sheet rock away from the ceiling joists. This was not noticeable at the time of completion of the installation, however the installers had to know that they had done this. They failed to mention this to me. The weight of the sheet rock caused the ceiling to sag slightly until over time the sag came to a weak point (the ceiling fan) and the ceiling began to crack. I thought I could repair this, but the damage was too great to patch repair. The ceiling eventually split almost all the way across and I had to have it replaced. It took the sag almost one and a half years to reach the point of cracking. At first I thought it had been too long to report to Knight Topline, but the more I thought about it the more angry I became. This is supposed to be a responsible and reputable company and any damage they did should have been reported and repaired. I called the company on Aug. 26 2010 before the repair so they could inspect and I was told that the owner would call me. I waited a week and got no response from the owner. I called back Sept. 2, 2010 and was told once again the owner would call me. I called on Sept. 3, 2010 and finally got a cell phone number at which I could reach the owner. I called a Mr. Carpenter the owner and his only response was to argue that I would have to prove that his men did the damage. He did not offer to come take a look at the pictures I took or even to discuss the matter. I have reported him to the BBB, Federal Trade Commission, and several consumer advocate groups. I would like to get his name out there so people can call me before they consider him as an HVAC vendor. I am having to add an extra $1259.84 to the cost of my Trane installation which I do not think anyone should have to do.

I have been using their services for about nine years. We call them twice a year to change the systems over from heating to cooling and to make sure everything is running correctly. They come when they say they will and they come right away if there is an emergency. We had them install a new air conditioner for us five years ago and have had no problems since.
