My home needed pressure washing. I made an appointment for 10AM with Sylvester. Much to my surprise, he rang my door bell at exactly 10AM. He quickly started working to remove mold from my home's exterior. I have a 2500 sq ft home so there was much to be done. He did an AMAZING job!!! I didn't even have any damage to shrubbery. He was so conscientious and by the time he left in mid afternoon, my home looked so clean. I will definitely be calling him in the future to do some other jobs. We all need a handyman. I had to pay extra money because he charged me for the drying time of the plaster! This was not explained to me until the work was finished and he wanted another $150!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The services were good. I would probably use them again.

.Sylvester was very punctual, courteous and professional .He had called and left a message to make sure the address was the correct one and to call him if it wasn't. We had bought a big deal coupon for pressure washing for a specified sq. footage and our house was much bigger . He gave us a good price. He is very meticulous and we couldn't believe it he arrived at 9:50 started working at around 10:15 and left at almost 8 o'çlock. We had a $233.00 big deal coupon and we paid $200.00 extra for the extra footage but the work was worth it.

Handyman Services was originally hired with a $99 Andie's List certificate to look at some repairs to the plaster and drywall in an upstairs bathroom. Sylvester Robinson Jr. called, we made an appointment, and he was on time and professional. I had to leave on business and while work was being performed, a plumbing emergency developed in the bathroom that was being worked on. Quick thinking by Mr. Robinson turned a potentially disastrous situation into a positive result. I became a believer that this guy could do anything. When I start to think about putting this house on the market for sale then Handyman Services will be my "go to guy." His work was excellent and his prices were more than fair! Highest recommendation.

This was an Angie's List Big Deal and we definitely got a great deal. Mr. Robinson called me within 2 days of my deal purchase and we arranged for services to be performed the following week. Mr. Robinson arrived on time, was very professional and discussed the service and my expectations in detail. Our white gutters and drain spouts were exceptionally soiled with a black film. Mr. Robinson worked diligently all day and we now have gutters that are sparkling like new! I highly recommend Mr. Robinson's pressure washer services. We were so pleased with the services rendered and plan on having him back for another handyman service in the near future.

Sylvester Robinson Jr./Handyman Services can out on Tue. 3/19/13 and we talked about what needed to be done and how it would be fixed. He gave me a price and wrote up a proposal. He came out on Fri. to do the work at the time he say he would. Completed the job in one day. He did a great job and I will be giving him a call again when I need him. He is someone you can trust.

Went better than expected. Mr. Robinson arrived on time and competently and professionally handled each repair.

He did a very good job, very thorough. He explained exactly what he was doing and why.

Very through. Scrubed my house with brushes, not just pressure wash.

Sydney responded,arrived and began work immediately.He worked for hours actually pressure washing out the leaves and debris which had been compacted into the gutters of our old house from the 1940s. No small feat.He got up on the roof ,cleaned all the gutters,cleaned the build up in the eaves, and pointed out areas where future repairs will be needed.All this... maneuvering on old original tiles on the roof and working around all the obstacles of an old house.GREAT JOB.Thanks again Angies list.I really do love this service.p.s. The whole job went very well. It was started on 1-7 when he found I needed flashing and as he had another job the next day, came back on 1-9 to finish.

When I called Sylvester, I was expecting to have to wait for service, but he was able to scheduled me in just a few days. He arrived on time, and installed the bike racks with no trouble. He was friendly and professional. I would use Sylvester again.

I had trouble getting a hold of this provider originally. I had to have Angie’s List call them. They were reluctant to come out to Greensboro. They did come out but the job was just ok. It was more expensive that it should have been. It took him longer to do the service. He had to run to the store for extra parts.

Sylvester did an excellent job, was courteous and professional.

Sylvester came and replaced my shutters the day after I called him. He was very professional and did an excellent job. I would .recommend him to anyone needing handyman services.

They were professional, courteous, and conscientious. They were unable to finish the job in one day, but came back without prompting to complete the job.

I tried to contact the him, but the number wasn't working. I researched and found a different phone number, and left a message. It took him 10 days to get back to me, I then contacted him because I wasn't able to answer the phone at the time. It took him another 10 days to get back in contact with me. I finally got the job scheduled for today and he is late because he stated that he got lost and after he wasted my entire morning. I called him and canceled and am going to get a refund.

I was going to have him come help out to help me with a few things around the house. I’ve called them a few times but I am having a hard time getting a hold of him. After looking at recent reviews from other members I am not sure about having them do work.

Got the Angie's List Big Deal special for window and vinyl siding cleaning. Emailed and left several voice mail messages over a ten day period with no call back to schedule the service. Prior to canceling I got a call back to schedule the service. They showed up on time and did the job. Regarding the quality of the service, most of the house looks good. I have one side that is streaky and unfortunately for me it is facing the road. The window cleaning was a waste of time. We asked if they wanted us to removed the screens but got a non committal response. Bottom line is the screens should have been removed. The crud just collects at the bottom of the screen and makes a real mess. They apparently pressure washed my AC units as well which trip the breaker. I did not know this and ended up calling an AC repair man which costs me $85. In my defense, the air was blowing but would never get cold. Give me a break, I work in IT and I am a total novice when it comes to home repairs. That said, the $85 still stings. Not sure why they washed the AC. In summary the service was just okay. It feels to me like the rushed the job, perhaps due to the high demand for the Big Deal. Not getting a call back for 10 days was a little aggravating. The streaks (still there by the way) are disappointing and the extra bill for the AC repair man makes me less likely to do any more big deals.

I had a little trouble connecting with Sylvestor at first. I think he was overwhelmed with calls. But he did call me and we promptly set an appointment. He arrived on time with all the necessary equipment to get the job done. He did the additional work the next day!

Sylvester came and did work when I was not home. Did not call to get agreement to a different style stair railing (my original are straight, he put up swirling). Did not respond promptly to voicemails. Very nice, friendly man.
