From the getgo, Fred was very friendly and professional. He came out and did a free inspection of the work and provided a ballpark estimate of the costs to install the outlet. A week later, he came out and did the work and the final invoice was on the low end of the cost range of his estimate. All in all a very professional contractor, and while I did not meet him personally, my wife told me that he was very friendly and courteous when he came out to do the work. Highly recommended!!

Our 1960s house had some strange wiring in the upstairs bathroom and bedroom that probably came about when a renovation took place. The bathroom is shared between 2 bedrooms and the light switch inside controlled half of the electrical outlets and one light switch for the closet in the bedroom. Meaning that the bathroom light had to be on to use 2 of the outlets (which are used for bedside lamps and there is no overhead lighting in this room) as well as the closet light. Fred was able to fix the issue and now we can use those outlet/switches normally.

Mr. Schlosser saw the review where I had expressed some dissatisfaction. He called to apologize and ask if could do something to remedy the problem. He was very kind, very professional. He came out and did my work to my total satisfaction. I think the problem before was all due to problems with scheduling. I would be happy to give Mr. Schlosser a very positive recommendation.

Arrived on schedule. Discovered squirrely wiring and had to devise a way to maintain adherence to code and still complete the task as requested. Was professional, courteous, helpful, and competent. We are quite pleased with the job.

So we searched, called, set-up appointments, etc. with several contractors in the area for a myriad of electrical needs. Fred/eWire was in that mix. Fred was very open about his schedules and availabilities, asked all the right questions about the job and our expectations (house is over 80 years old) and gave us a fair price. They weren't the cheapest, not the most expensive, but the approach to the projects is what made the difference. Once the projects were started, Fred did a great job, while on location, communicating any changes to the requirements, his opinions on why we might want to consider other approaches, and any cost differences that might come into play, etc. Fred is on our "A" list of contractors and we've been happy to reference him to neighbors and others in the market for quality work and a fair price!

I had a mystery problem where two outlets quit working. Tried everything I could think of, including replacing the outlets and controlling circuit breaker, but was unsuccessful. Searched Angie's List for electrical deals and eWire's price and rating seemed like the best choice. Fred showed up at the appointed time, figured out the problem and took care of it. Also enhanced the outlets I'd replaced by swapping out the holding screws with longer ones needed because of the unusual set back of the outlet boxes. Very friendly and professional and cleaned up after himself. Will use eWire again.

Difficult contacting provider at first. Once contacted, vendor came at agreed to date and time.

Fred was punctual, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. He took great care to do the work correctly and to also clean each area when he was finished. I've already scheduled additional projects for him! I highly recommend him.

Fred Schlosser is excellent! This project was very complicated, such that I had a hard time finding anyone who would even try to do it. Fred had to coordinate with 2 other service providers to cut tile in the shower ceiling and to cut a hole in the roof for the ventilation. Fred went above and beyond the call of duty to get this job accomplished, including coming out to my house at least 5 times. The end result is fantastic. I highly recommend Fred for his professionalism and ability to get the job done.

E-wire electric is my only electrician I use. Fred is punctual and executes his work precisely. I had a few outlets an GFCI to replace and he did it quickly. I also have a Instant on Hot water heater to hookup and he helped me realize I may not have the right amount of Voltage to the house to operate. A true professional. I am about to hire him again A+!

He found and fixed electrical problems in kitchen. I had 2 outlets that were not working and switches that were loose in walls and a switch that had gone bad. He was so professional and responded to my need very quickly and the cost of repairs were very reasonable. He even took pictures of the problem he found in my basement to show me because I could not go down the stairs. He explained in detail what the problems were and explained what he did to correct the bad wiring. I am so pleased with his work and his fixing of my problems. I can now use my outlets in my kitchen and my switches are now working. I have other work that I will call him about after the first of the year that is not pressing but I definitely want him to do what needs to be done concerning my outside lighting. I would recommend Fred to anyone who needs electrical work done. Thank you Fred for such a great job and prompt service.

Fred was very professional and courteous from the outset. I had wanted to run power to this outbuilding for years but was always reluctant due to the cost. Fred's initial quote was significantly lower than ones I had received before. After talking with Fred he told me I could save even more money on the price if I did the trenching. I quickly agreed. I hit a few snags with the digging, so when Fred showed up on Monday as agreed, he had to begin in the shed rather than at the house panel. Fred worked around me without a word of complaint. When he showed up on Tuesday to do the house panel portion, I still had several feet of trench to finish on that end, but was in the shed taking care of some last minute framing due to a change I had wanted to make. After I finished the framing, I came out of the shed to see Fred putting the finishing touches on the trench. He had taken the initiative to finish it for me. Again, without a word of complaint. I wanted to make sure the supply line coming into the building would be as hidden as possible (since the outbuilding is raised) and Fred did an excellent job concealing it and the ground wire; you can't see either of them unless you are looking for them. He even added an extra outlet in the building at no charge so that one of the circuits would look cleaner. All of this and the final price was within 15 dollars of his original quote. I've never had a better experience with anyone. I only wish he did plumbing too!

Very pleased with every aspect of the job. First off, we had a new outdoor patio which was wired for lighting, but we needed to run the wiring into the house and switch it in a convenient place. Two electricians looked at it before Fred, one said it wouldn't work, one said he could do it, but not the way we wanted. By the time we talked to Fred, we showed him our preference, but acknowledged we might have to accept an alternative approach. Fred's approach was very refreshing & positive, and he accomplished the job the way we wanted. Next, we needed to replace 7 old exterior lights and install 1 new one. There were a few obstacles, the old ones were nearly 20 years old, and the new ones we selected weren't a perfect fit for the mounting hardware. But Fred made it work. Quality of work: excellent. But Fred is also very easy to work with

Wow! what can be said about what an excellent job Fred did. We called him right at 8 am on the 20th and he was able to come to our house to fix a confusing issue. My husband attempted to install a fan for one of our bathrooms; however, when it came to installing a GFI switch, the wiring did not go as well as planned. The many hours my husband spent attempting to repair Fred fixed the problem on his own, in just a couple of hours. This included installing the wiring to the vent fan. The price he charged was hands down the least expensive professional work that we have even seen. Fred was honest, did not stretch the job out, and was very thorough in the work that was complete. We will most definitely be hiring him again for future projects. After reviewing all the providers on Angie's list he had the best hourly rate for the amount of work done. Fred, was very professional and was very pleasant to deal with. He explained everything to my husband about what the issue was with the wiring and also gave some advice for future projects.

Fred did a great job with what he had to do. He showed up did his work and got the job inspected the same day. He left the work area clean.

We had recently changed home insurance companies. When they inspected, they sited a wire coming from the front of our house into the ground that for the past 20 yrs powered some exterior outside lights and an outlet. We tried to fix by putting lflexible housing over the but they insisted that we either get rid of wiring or bury it. On Friday, I found eWire on Angies List and spoke with Fred about our problem as our time was growing short to correct or have insurance cancelled. He came out the same day, explained that he would house the wire and give us documentation that it was to code, assured us it would not be a problem, gave us a quote, and said he would be back to do work the following Mon or Tue. On Mon., I contacted our insurance with this information and they responded that the only acceptable solution was to cut off the wire or bury it. When Fred called Tue morning before coming out, I told him what they had said but that I wanted him to fix it anyway. He called the insurance co.(above and beyond call of duty), and explained things to them. They called back about the time he finished the work and said what he proposed was acceptable. I am so happy to have found Fred. He is personable and professional and will definitely use him again and would recommend him without qualification.

Due to my busy schedule, I have not had an opportunity to thank Fred from eWire Electric Co. for doing such a professional job with the installation of our ceiling fan. The job required trouble-shooting of an electrical system and subsequent install on a 12 ft. ceiling. Fred arrived timely, per schedule, was very courteous and performed the task honestly and diligently. I look forward to utilizing Fred's services for all of my future electrical work! Thank you! An extemely professional tradesman. He remains totally committed and works consistently during the time on site; no coffee breaks, rests or phone calls when he's on the job. Reliable and punctual. He completed the job of installing six outdoor spotlights, two switch boxes and an outdoor outlet on two levels of a new deck. Perfect job. Also completed a tricky fault find to repair a dead power outlet. Excellent tradesman.

eWire was very professional and installed the two new circuits and outlets in easily reached locations in my basement workshop. The table saw 240 circuit and the 20 amp power tool circuits were installed in just the right places. I am very pleased with the new circuits now available and the work that was done. I highly recommend eWire for any residential wiring needs that you might have.

The reviews I read from Angie's List on Fred from E-Wire did not lie. He was on time, went straight to work and got a good deal of the work I needed done completed. Very nice, helpful and professional. He didn't leave a mess and was done in the allotted 2 hours. I felt good with the work he did for me. I will definitely use him in the future for other electrical needs.
