I never received one call from this company not even to set an appointment. I called them personally and left messages with no response. This company is very unprofessional I would not waste my time purchasing any services from them.

Purchased a coupon for 2 hours of work. She contacted me and did that work (the wood replacement) promptly. I hired her to also do the weather stripping. Took a little longer but that was because we had to work around both of our schedules. Overall I was pleased and will hire her to do some other work as well in the spring.

See above. No contact from this business for FIVE FULL DAYS FROM PURCHASE OF OFFER. Offer explicitly said she'd be in contact within TWO days to schedule the work. This is simply unsatisfactory. Again, I am not questioning Coggins Painting's work in any way. I'm sure they have many happy customers. I'm simply not willing (nor should I be) to wait more than FIVE days from initiating contact with a business before hearing anything from that business. I bear them no ill will; I want my money refunded, and I'll find someone else who's responsive.

They came out on two visits. The first visit was for patching and the second was for the painting. They completed the work in about four hours total. They did an excellent job overall.

The job went very well and by the time I decided to peak in for a 2nd look it was done. It turned out very well and I was very pleased as was my daughter, as it was her room that was painted. I also requested a quote on some additional painting I need performed and Lisa gave me the quote before leaving and I have scheduled the additional work with her.

I contacted Coggins Painting about painting 2 rooms, a small half bath and a hall going upstairs. I used a coupons that stated 2 painters 8 hours of painting for 399. There was also a coupon on the site for 150 per room for painting. My home is a townhome. The rooms are not very big. I asked did she think this could be done in 8 hours with two painters. She told me if I took all wall plates off, moved all furniture, and got everything ready so she could start painting as soon as she got here it would be more than enough time. This was to be two coats of paint in each room. I provided 5 gallons of premium plus paint. I had everything requested done when the painters arrived at 9: 15. I showed them the rooms and asked would 8 hours be enough time to get done. She assured me there would be plenty of time. I work night shift, so I went to take a nap. I woke at 1 pm to check on the progress. ~4 hours later and the only thing that had been painted was the kitchen. They were just starting on the small bath and the living room. The paint job in the kitchen was not double coated. You could clearly see white in spots on the wall were the paint was not spread evenly. At 5 pm, I was told that they were done and she could come back the next day and finish the rest for another 399. I proceeded to show them the kitchen and living room where the paint was not double coated. She said they were going to fix all the spots. I had to leave for work at 5:45. I paid them and left for work. My son said as soon as I left they packed up and left. They did not fix the spots on the wall. They left me one unopened gallon of paint out of 5 gallons. I had to go back and paint both rooms and the small bathroom over. They never got to the hall. I would have been better off using the 150 per room coupon then no matter how long it took the job would have been completed. I felt like this was a bait and switch deal. They get in my house and start a job and then milk me for the next 2 days. My son said he saw them take all leftover paint with them. I don't understand why they took the partial gallons of paint. I am very dissatisfied with this company.

I hired Lisa on a recommendation from Angie's List. I'm not sure if she sent the reviews in or my house was just too much for her to handle but she was incompetent, sloppy, slow, irresponsible. I am very disappointed in Angie's List and Coggins Painting Lisa Coggins began painting my house in November, 2013 and told me that she would paint as much as possible until the weather turned cold then they would be back in the spring to finish - probably around April. I asked that she paint the front of the house first so it would look nice for Christmas. She agreed but they started working on the front and then the side then the back. They removed shutters and left others unlatched so they crashed around in the wind. They took storm windows off and never replaced them - even leaving two sitting in the yard. They disconnected light fixtures and left them - dangling from the wires (supposedly so they would not paint them but they sprayed over them anyway!) They would come for a few days then not come for several days. She always had an excuse. The weather turned cold and she hadn't finished the front of the house or anything else but she had started many sections. When May arrived and there was still no sign of them I called - she said they would be back mid May and work until the job was completed. In June she finally came back to work - but only for a day or two then no sign of them for a week - 2 weeks - I called - Oh it has been raining, she said. The only problem was it HAD NOT been raining at my house!! So they came out and worked for 3 days. Then nothing for another week or two. I called again. The next morning she was back with her 12 year old son and his friend to help! She had hurt her leg and said she thought her assistant had been painting the entire time (he had not). The following morning going to work I saw Lisa's son and his friend up on a ladder but Lisa was not there! I was shocked that she would leave 2 twelve year-olds to work on my house without supervision. Quite irresponsible. This company is terrible. I would not hire them or recommend them and wonder why Angie's List had given them an "A" rating!?! I spent a lot of money on a shoddy incomplete job. Update 10/23/2014: I emailed Lisa after I send a negative review into Angie's List asking her to return some of the money I paid her. She never replied so I filed a complaint with Angie's List Complaint Resolution Center. Her response was to claim I only paid her $500 for 2 days work! I have a signed contract that states she would paint my entire house, pressure wash the deck and paint part of the fence and try to get it done in 3-6 weeks. It actually took more than 9 months and most of that time she was absent and she never completed the job. I also have 3 cancelled checks adding up to more than $7000. She not only did not complete the job but left her 12 year old son and his friend here on a ladder to work! When I looked at the recent reviews on Angie's List I noticed they were from the time she should have been completing the job at my house but once she got her money it really did not matter to her. The painter working on my house now claims the work that was done was substandard. He took me around and showed me where they didn't prep the walls, how they did not cut in and all of the over spray on the windows, bushes and roof! This company is not only incompetent but dishonest as well.

Lisa and Marco of Coggins Painting LLC arrived at about 8:00 AM ready to work. Prior to this date I had determined from Lisa and purchased the paint needed to complete the job. I didn't have any idea how much of the ceiling could be completed in the time allotted and thought that if I could get the living room and dining room painted I would be happy. The primer required about two hours drying time and they began in the living room and moved into the stairwell then into the dining room and hall with the primer and by the time they completed the stairwell with primer the living room was ready for finish paint. While applying the finish paint, Lisa showed me several spots that had bubbled which she explained as common after the popcorn texture had been removed. The places where the bubbles formed were repaired with drywall mud and marked so I could complete it after the mud dried. After about six hours Lisa asked if I would rather have her work on the kitchen which needed a lot of prep work or work on two of the upstairs areas. I selected the upstairs areas and they went to work on that. Lisa exceeded all my expectations by completing much more than I thought she could do in the eight hours. She is eager to please in all of her work and we would hire her again.

Lisa is wonderful. She spent the time to talk with me about what I wanted and made great suggestions on colors and options. They have stayed ahead of schedule throughout. They rehang anything that I want back where it was, and have even installed new fixtures that I got. I am so excited to see the final product, but am thrilled with what she has done so far.

The painting Lisa did was very good and she did go the extra mile to finish it in a short period of time. Then she said that she could fix a toilet. It took several weeks and a few phone calls before this was done. I returned to the house a few days later and discovered the toilet running. I called Lisa and asked her to go by and adjust/repair/fix this problem and asked her to call me. I called her three times and have received no response. On another trip to the house I found the toilet running again. (There is no telling what our water bill will be). I expect someone doing work for me to stand behind their work and at least try to address the situation. Because of this, I would not use Lisa again.

Lisa Coggins is a great lady and very hard working! She gave me some great painting tips as I also enjoy painting. She did a great job on the areas that she and her co-painter worked on. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Lisa and her assistant got right to work and really did a great job in a short amount of time - less than they estimated. will definitely use them again once I choose colors for other rooms.

The owner is a hardworking and knowledgeable lady whom I enjoyed very much. They did a very good job and sealed all cracks and holes and even caulked along edges that needed it. |The downside (and I hesitate to mention this because I have not spoken to her about it yet) is that there was some considerable damage to my bed in terms of gouged wood apparently from a ladder. Also I just noticed that they splattered paint on the wallpaper in the dressing area apparently when cleaning up equipment. It would have been a wonderful experience if not for the damage.

Team Lisa came right on time in the morning, and prepped and painted the room before noon. They did an excellent job, very clean and precise! Looks great!

Was pleased with the work and the attention to detail that I was asking for. There were problems between this company and the General Contractor, now out of business, that affected payment. When I stood up for this company so they would get paid, they backed out of the rest of the work and stopped returning calls. I felt like I went to bat for them to get them paid and then I was forgotten about. In fairness, it was likely the relationship with the GC they didn't want to deal with but I could have gotten a call to say so.

Working with Lisa & her team was a great experience. From the first time we met Lisa, she was so friendly & has such a great personality we felt like we've known her for years. Lisa & her team are all professional, accommodating & their work was fantastic. We put samples of different colors on the wall & she offered advise on why some colors are better than other. Lisa told me how much of each color to buy & from her experience she was right on the mark. I have a little of each left over for future touchups, but not the gallons I would have had leftover if I bought them without advise. Since we both work & felt so comfortable with Lisa, we gave her a key to the house. At no time was I concerned about leaving her & her team alone in our home. We've already hired Lisa to come back in a few weeks to powerwash our house & stain our deck.

Lisa Coggins is extremely professional, efficient, and thorough. She took the job at less than her normal prices knowing it was an apartment job that simply required covering flat walls with new paint, painting one shelf, and one small ceiling access panel. Despite some challenges caused by the incorrect paint color I bought (it was supposed to be Antique White but was actually White), causing Ms. Coggins to make a special trip to the paint store to get the paint mixed to the correct color, the job was done as promised in one day and was extremely well done. Ms. Coggins went above and beyond the job hired for and fixed a few small things she found during her work at the apartment. I have never met a painter who is as well versed in a variety of skills before and applaud her willingness to add tremendous value to her work. I most highly recommend Ms. Coggins for any type of painting work and have seen her finer painting skills in very nice homes, one of which referred her to me for my rental property needs. Ms. Coggins listens and understands her clients and intends to develop a relationship which will be life long and not simply a "job".
