We also employ our own professional installers for outstanding results and unparalleled customer satisfaction. We offer free design and color consultations in your home while we measure your windows for the perfect choice in window covering and the look you are trying to achieve.

Services we offer

We offer the full line of Hunter Douglas and Comfortex products in window covering. We custom craft our high quality and durable composite Plantation Shutters at our shop in Winston Salem. You can also get wood shutters in any paint color or stain to match your trim or existing window coverings. If you want our unique "distressed" shutters, we will custom paint your trim for a beautiful overall result. Our exclusive Huper Optik window film protects your home from the harmful UV rays.

Description of Work: Came in and measured and installed plantation shutters for two windows and two doors | |They made an error in original measurements on the two windows -- but they were able to get new shutters made and installed with only a week's delay. That did not cause us a problem, it was embarrassing for them. | |We're very happy with the finished products.

Mr. [Member Name Removed] was kind in his review. This was one of the first estimates our new sales person, Jillian, performed. Unfortunately, when she recorded the measurements on the measure sheet, she transposed the width and the length on the shutter Mr. [Member Name Removed] is referring too. It was an unfortunate mistake that she learned from. She now has a year under her belt and is doing a great job. Thank you, Mr. [Member Name Removed]!

Description of Work: They were very nice but did not give the choice of product that I wanted. They assumed I wanted one size and did not recommend the way I wanted them installed. Price was a bit high. I found a company to install to my satisfaction.

We are sincerely sorry that we were unable to offer Mrs. [Member Name Removed] the type of install she was requesting. We always strive to give the customer exactly what they desire, however there are times when the types of windows, products, etc. have limitations for a proper installation that we feel confident in the ability to warranty. Carolina Shutter and Blinds has been in business for 25 years. We will never compromise where quality or integrity are concerned. We operate honestly. If we had agreed to do what Mrs. [Member Name Removed] requested knowing our type of shutter is not made to work that way, we would have compromised both quality and our integrity. We are happy she found someone who was able to give her what she wanted. We have never declared ourselves the "cheapest" however we do feel the quality we offer at the prices we offer is a considerable value when doing an apples to apples comparison with our local competition. We did not charge Mrs. [Member Name Removed] anything to give her the estimate she requested.

Kim not only comes out and measures everything but she is also a designer. She is just awesome, she really is! I cant say enough nice things about her. She is pleasant and down to earth, willing to help and listen to your ideas, and she will give you any suggestion.
