The crew was great, and the move was good. They were careful with our things, on time, and super nice.

Movers (3) arrived and started right away. They were a good crew. Two worked really hard, all were really nice to us, and took time to carefully wrap everything. They knew how to disassemble everything quickly, were skilled at maneuvering and working together. There was no damaged or missing items. The youngest one was smoking outside a few times, playing uncensored rap from his phone, which we didn't mind since our kids weren't home but others might. He would stand around and check his phone while the other two were busting it getting our furniture in. It was a little hard giving him the same tip as the other guys, but we did. Moving is a lot of work and we appreciated the help. It was expensive, but I still think it was worth it to have it all done in one trip and one day.

American Moving helped us three times in the past year, and every time we received EXCELLENT service at what we considered a very reasonable price. Not only did they treat the furniture with care, they were polite and kind to us as we dealt with moving a parent to assisted living and then later cleaned out her home. Wonderful people.

The guys were on time and polite but they did not do a good job moving. They seemed to be more interested in socializing with each other and not paying attention. Boxes fell and were stacked improperly. Items, marked fragile, were broken!

American Moving & Hauling saved the day for me. I was behind on my packing and Amy, the owner, managed to get additional crew to finish packing and loading on moving day; she even hired a cleaning crew for me after the move. Great moving crew. Great personal service.

The crew arrived on time and packed up our home in multiple trips. During one of the moves, one of the guys was injured, but a replacement mover arrived within 30 minutes. There were a couple of pressed board furniture items that were damaged in the move and a couple of scratches on the dining room table, but other than that, everything was delivered and setup in the rooms that we requested. Amy, the owner, is very professional and responds quickly to your questions and concerns. We will definitely use her company again, if we move in the near future.

Three men came with a truck as agreed. They were punctual and friendly. I showed them the items to be moved and pointed out the fragile items. They went right to work and quickly moved the furniture and boxes to the truck. We then went to the storage unit where they unpacked my belongings and put them into storage. They were very careful with my belongings and attentive to my directions. I plan to use them again when I move to a new house.

Movers did great work with only a few minor glitches. They broke a mirror, scuffed one of my walls, scratched my hardwood floors (repaired on the spot), and broke a leg off my bedroom dresser (repaired it in their shop and delivered back to me 4 days later). Amy and the movers were very nice and professional and were flexible with my schedule. If I ever have to move again, I would definitely consider them before someone else.

American Moving and Hauling provided excellent service. My appointment was for 9AM and the movers arrived a little early, allowing them to start actually moving my things right at 9. Everything went smoothly and I am now setup in my new home. I will certainly use American Moving and Hauling for my next move.

The service was excellent. My appointment was at 9 and the gentleman were there and ready to start at 9. They worked very hard. We had some very heavy furniture that had to be moved down a very tricky staircase. The gentleman were very respectful of our furniture and home. They did not markup my walls with the furniture. I will definitely use them again.

These guys were very punctual, professional, courteous, and had great senses of humor. I am that guy who finds it very difficult to give top marks in every category, but I am compelled by my experience to do so now. I cannot speak highly enough about this crew of three as well Amy, who had to deal with last minute possible changes to scheduling for us. I have already personally and enthusiastically recommended them to some friends who will be moving this month and will do so for whomever asks. This was a great experience, one that I normally dread! I spoke with Amy regarding my move. She was so gracious. They gave me a quote that I could trust. They agreed to let me pay when we got there. I felt they were very honest and helpful. She is the best! I would highly recommend her. She was very professional when I explained my son would be helping me instead. I would definitely use them in the future. I could tell that they were really trying to do what was best by me as the customer.

Three gentlemen arrived on time, worked steadily for 8 hours, and completed the move. All three were unfailingly professional and courteous, and we enjoyed working with them.

We recently used American Moving and Hauling to move from our rental house to a new home about 5 miles away. No one likes to move, but they made the process so much better than we could have imagined. We had quite a bit of furniture that needed to be taken apart and reassembled, and all of our heavy furniture was going to the second floor of our new home. They did everything we could have asked for! They arrived about 5 minutes before their scheduled time, went over all of the paper work with me, and started within about 10 minutes. The whole job took just around 6 hours, and they didn't stop working the entire time. They were very careful with our furniture and actually payed attention to boxes marked "Fragile." They even moved some things that I had mentioned that we would be happy to move for them since they were not packed. They were beyond appreciative that we bought them all breakfast and they worked incredibly hard. I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving, and I will definitely use them if we ever move again! Thank you American Moving and Hauling for making our experience so wonderful!

A worker fell partly through the attic when he stepped off of the finished area into the insulation, thinking there was flooring underneath. He was fine thankfully, and he and the other worker did a fine job completing the task. However, the company does not want to take responsibility and pay for the repairs, stating that I should have told him there was no flooring under the insulation. The follow up from the company reflects inaccurate information and facts. The owner was clearly informed of the nature of the work to be performed. It was completed, and they did a fine job, with the exception of the hole in my ceiling. They were paid in full, tipped, and provided plenty of Gatorade. Slander involves providing false information, and I am not a bully. I only expect a just and fair and resolution. UPDATE 7-9-15: Movers damaged our home in excess of $700 while moving boxes. Owner refused to take responsibility for her employees negligence. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

American Moving and Hauling just left our house. They did a huge move for us from Greensboro to Oak Ridge and did an amazing job! They were so careful with all of our stuff and nothing was damaged. We could not have asked for a better or smoother move! Thanks so much!

Amy Cushman and her team moved us out of our home in Pfafftown to our new home in Winston-Salem. It was a big move and Amy made sure to have enough people to handle the move. She was on site most all of the time which I found very impressive. I thought her guys were hard working and easy to deal with. Amy gave an estimate and also a maximum price guarantee. We actually hit the maximum price guarantee which was not a surprise because this was a large move and took a little more time than they anticipated. Overall we were very happy with their services and would recommend them for someone doing a local move.

This was BY FAR my smoothest moving experience ever! I contacted Amy at AM&H to arrange for her company to move us. Our family has had our fair share of moving and we had used another moving company in another state before and had an awful experience we almost swore off moving companies all together. Thank goodness I found AM&H to restore my faith! From the first call with Amy to the amazing moving crew, Tony, John, and Garrett, it was the easiest part of our move.
