If I could give this company a negative 5-star rating I would. We had a technician come to our home to repair the AC portion of our heat pump. The technician looked at the portion of the unit that is outside and determined the capacitor needed to be replaced. He did not have the properly sized one on his truck, so he rigged two separate capacitors together and said we should be fine. He never went into the house to inspect the rest of the system. An hour later, the air went out again. The very next day, I called the office and told them the unit stopped working and asked them to send someone back out. They couldn't possibly send anyone because "we can't move anyone off the schedule to fit you in." I asked to speak to a supervisor to further explain the situation. I was put on hold and the girl quickly came back and said no one was available. Yeah right. I could get an appointment two days later though! Based on that conversation, and the fact this was now 4 days without air, I called another company. A couple of days later, the other company's technician was at my home when my husband received a call from Advanced to see if they could come and look at the unit. He told them to cancel the call. The new company's technician pulled the cover off the outside unit, looked things over, and told us the capacitors replaced by Advanced were improperly wired. Really?!! I called Advanced the first thing the following morning and told them about the findings of the new company's technician. I was finally able to talk to someone in management and I indicated, considering the circumstances, I should receive a refund. I went back and forth with them, gave them all the information the new tech provided (which was extensive), received all the standard BS and was eventually told (after having to follow-up with them), nothing would be done. The best thing about this is they "made our best effort to try to make things right." Their "best effort" was to: 1. not communicate anything other than I could get an appointment for someone to come out again in two days 2. not follow up to let us know they were even thinking of sending someone out 3. call us the day the other company's technician was there to see if someone could come and look at the AC 4. tell me they called me and left a message regarding their decision. I looked at my call history and yes, they called. There was no message 5. state my request for a refund was declined 6. charge me $400 for nothing So, I'm letting you know how this company treats its customers. Oh, and by the way, they "hope that we can continue to be a trusted resource for repairs around your home." LMAO! That'll be the day!

I've had service calls from Advance for many years. By far, Walter Cruz was, without question, the absolutely top performer today. He was prompt, very clear about his objectives and reported on progress throughout. A pleasant personality, which made it easy to talk to. Advance can learn a lot about customer service by using Walter as the prototype. If service was ever requested in the future, I would ask for Walter as the technician.

Today, February 8, 2023, Scott and Dillon with Advanced Appliance Service arrived to service my HVAC SYSTEM, both were very knowledgeable, explained everything they were doing and showed me what was wrong with my system. They were very friendly and patient when I asked questions and exhibited great customer service. Dillon, Scott’s apprentice, showed a great appreciation for his job by diligently working to make sure that my HVAC issue would be resolved and that I understood the process. My experience with these two professionals assured my confidence in their abilities! Thank you!

This company gets contracts with American Home Shield came out to replace a bad compressor they put the new compressor in but didn't clear the line and actually braised for 4 hours or so because they didn't clear the line and contaminates we're leaking out before my eyes of course this caused the new compressor to immediately go bad as well so Cody said they would come back to (Try something else) long story short they called a week later to say I needed to replace the system. I got my neighbor involved who is a Top HVAC guy who became disabled, well then everything changes after he spoke to them after they admitted basically that they messed up and would make it right 2 weeks later I have to have American Home Shield send a new company to fix Advanced Appliance mess. Horrible Company do yourself a favor and call someone else.

First visit the guy had no clue on how to fix it and my husband took time off from work. Second visit they didn’t have the part to fix it and my mom took time off from work. Third time they never showed and apparently Mark never placed me on the schedule. We will NEVER use their service again. Jacob, the supervisor, Never follow up with calling me back…I had to chase him down with my complaints which were never resolved. We had to find another plumber from another company. By the way, when they took the shower handle off they didn’t place it back on correctly so there’s been water shooting out for over 3 weeks! DONT USE THEM AT ALL!

Sent out plumber thru my home warranty. He stood in kitchen with hands in his pockets. Had no tools with him, not even a flashlight. Ran hot water down kitchen sink, looked at washer drain, looked under house thru foundation vent. Lied on report to home warranty so they won't cover it. Said I need new drain installed directly to the main. Said my drain was only 1 1/2" too small for modern washers. (It's a 2" drain, by code). Said there was no access to the main. How did he know??? He never went under the house. Anyway, the job he recommended would be $1000s because the drain is imbedded in concrete. Called Advanced to send another plumber who wanted to work. They wouldn't do it. Said they'd need another work order from my home warranty. The girl on the phone never asked my name, so not very interested in how her tech did. Wouldn't recommend these people at all!!

They have been great. I was on an annual service plan and they were very reliable. I would highly recommend them and I will use them again.

Excellent, arrived quickly and got it running at a good price.

Ran snakes from the roof vent as well as bathroom sinks. Sinks were on a sanitary tee so it made it a little difficult making the snake turn 90 degrees. They cleared the slow drain and has been working fine.

I was under a maintenance contract. All A's. They do very, very good. They are very, very professional and friendly. I used them because my home insurance company uses them.

They were excellent. They were quick. They knew what they were doing. They were awesome. It was through my home warranty. The quality, workmanship, timing, everything was perfect. I didn't pay for it. I have no idea what they changed. The home warranty company sent them.

We had our hot water go out and called on a Saturday morning to see if someone could come out. James was here within an hour and fixed the issue within 30 min. He was nice, professional, and very educated on what he was doing. We were very thankful for him and would be happy to do business with this company again, especially James.

Terrible. On the first visit, two technicians came to diagnose the problem. They admitted they were not familiar with Samsung models. After thoroughly attempting to diagnose the machine they said that a couple of parts had gone bad and would need to be ordered. Parts were ordered and an expected delivery date of the parts was emailed to me. I called a couple of days before they were to arrive to schedule and appt. I was told that they would not schedule an appt without parts having been received and inspected. They would call me to schedule. Three days after the parts were scheduled to be delivered I called to get an update. Parts were received but nobody called. Appt was scheduled for the next week. This technician, Patrick, arrived to put on the parts. He said he did not think the parts that were ordered were actually going to fix the issue but he would put them on. After putting on the parts he said additional parts needed to be ordered. A week goes by no call from Advance I called to see when parts would arrive and was told that the ticket had been closed. I asked why because my machine was still not functioning properly. They had no answer and said that Patrick would have to call me to discuss. After most of the day passed and no call from Patrick I called my home warranty company. They called Advanced Appliance to get the ticket reopen. They came back with the same story, Patrick is going to call you "within minutes". This was at about 4:45 on Friday. can anyone guess if I received a call from Patrick. Well, I won't keep you in suspense the answer is a big NO. So I called my warranty company back on Monday and they wound up assigning a new contractor to my service order because Advanced Appliance is not trained to work on Samsung washers. To which I asked "Why would you send them out to work on my washer", and more importantly "why would they accept the job????" Still waiting on an answer on this questions but I think we all know answer to that question. So ultimately they accepted the job initially and when they could not resolve the issue they closed the ticket without notifying anyone and left me hanging and delaying the repair at least an additional week.

Wayne Allen came out and did everything he said he would do. Left house in way that he found it. Very pleased with timeliness, professionalism, and overall experience.

Advanced was able to schedule me the very next day. As I expected, the problem was with the original plumbing in the construction of the house. James immediately figured it out and gave me a flat rate estimate to basically reinstall the pipes and the code required expansion tank. The work is impeccable. James was nice and very efficient. Every service I have had from Advanced has been better than I expected.
