A Lawn Crue

Hired this company for various yard-related issues. They accepted PayPal, that was convenient. Didn't have to run out and get cash every time. They first mowed, trimmed bushes, and cut trees April 28th, 2020. We made a verbal agreement that they would mow the lawn every 3 weeks. I asked them to either call or text, before they arrived. That did not happen. Schedule of mowing every 3 weeks should have been: May 19th June 9th June 30th Weeks go by. During that time while I was at home under COVID19 stay at home orders, I noticed them at the house twice. No call, no text. I let it slide. Last time I physically saw them mow the lawn was June 2nd. June 16th, I got a phone call from John, the owner. He called to inform me that I owed him for mowing. Okay, I knew that I owed him. The reason I asked him to call or text before they arrived is that I could actually pay them on the day they were here doing the job. But, I digress. At that point, he advised me that they mowed *4 times* since I paid him on April 28th. If you see the schedule above, you will see that they should have only mowed twice during that time (May 19th, and June 9th). I mentioned that fact. He stated they were mowing every 2 weeks. I reminded him of our verbal agreement of every 3 weeks. Paid him for all 4 mows, grudgingly. I didn't want to deny payment for *two extra mows*, even though it was his scheduling error. The next time they mowed was June 22nd. He did text before they arrived. I paid through PayPal, same day. The next scheduled mow should have been July 13th. They mowed on July 1st. No call. No text. Not even a knock on the door. They had already started mowing before I realized they were here, so I couldn't even run out to stop them. I paid them through PayPal, same day. I contacted them July 1st, via text, informing them that their services were no longer needed. They do a good job. They just do it too frequently, and without proper notification. It appears they have difficulty in scheduling and communication. Hire at your own discretion.
