I bought a new home so I just had them clean and inspect the chimney.

They really had very little to do. I called a chimney sweep because of the cracks in the mortar of the firebricks. Wanted to make sure fireplace was in OK condition to install the new gas logs. Visit was so short, I thought the cost was a bit much since this was not a wood fire chimney being inspected and cleaned.

They arrived on time and were very professional. The chimneysweep laid out cloths, wore a disposable cleansuit, and used a filtered vacuum to clean up all debris. He was fast and thorough. He noticed that the damper had been incorrectly installed and took the time to correct the problem at no extra charge.

Upon arriving, I showed Joshua where the fireplace to be cleaned was located. He addressed my concerns about dust and soot intruding the room then set up the required equipment and cleaned the chimney, which was quite in need of cleaning. The work was done expeditiously and the room as well as the chimney was left clean.

These guys were great, showed up on time, cleaned and inspected. Took care to protect our floors and left everthing in order. Very knowledgeable and had some great advice and input. Money well spent and a great value for peace of mind when burning a fireplace. Highly recommend and plan on using them in the future.

Well did a great job at inspection and cleaning

Our fireplace has not been in use for over 10 years so we wanted to have it cleaned and inspected. The guys performed the cleaning quickly and were careful to keep things clean. They noted one low priority issue that needed to be addressed and gave an approximate cost they would charge to repair it if I was interested in the future. No pressure at all. They returned my initial phone call almost immediately and were able to come by the very next day. They were a little early for the appointment we scheduled, but warned me that might happen depending on how their prior appointment went. Very happy with the service and would highly recommend them.

Went very well. The built up soot was eliminated and the fireplaces looked great. They even noticed a cap had never been placed on our fireplace and water was dripping in. This was unknown to us. We will be hiring them back soon to do this repair. M

A week or two before, they came out and gave me a free quote, which was much less than two other places I called. On the day, the guys showed up 20 mins. late but other than that they were really professional, really quick, SUPER clean, and very personable. I would definitely call them in the future for repairs or regular cleanings/maintenance. Thank you!

They cleaned both of my chimneys and identified 2 fixes that needed to be fixed in ordered to maximize energy efficiency in our home.

They contacted me a little late, they said they didn't received the notification but they came out as soon as they had opening. They were very polite, thorough and did everything possible to avoid any dirt, dust or any issue around the house

After the initial email contact, I was not able to reach provider to schedule the service. I called and left a message but never received a return call. After I completed the first review, I was contacted by the vendor with an explanation regarding a mix-up in the scheduling system.

Actually early and called to see if that was OK! Fast, and knew what they were doing. No up-selling or BS. I would use again and recommend!

Josh was prompt, friendly and professional. He was an expert in what he was doing, and taught me a lot about my fireplace! He did a thorough inspection and cleaning, including climbing on the roof, and while he was up there he made a note of other repair issues that I might not have known about, like a couple missing shingles, and to what degree my gutters needed cleaning. This was a nice touch! He cleaned up any leftover soot from the cleaning before he left. I feel safer about using the fireplace now, and would definitely recommend Josh to anyone.

I have been trying to find someone to clean out chimneys and now I'm glad it took so long because I am very happy with A Cleaner Chimney, LLC. They are enthusiastic and professional. They take time to explain and answer questions. I need a cap on my chimney and received pictures via email within minutes of our phone conversation. Their prices are up front and reasonable. These guys earn your trust and keep it. I wasn't able to have a fire last year because I was so nervous about not finding a sweep, now I am happy and warm! There is nothing like piece of mind and a glass of port in front of a nice fire on a cold evening or cocoa and a book by the fire on the weekend! Thank you Josh, Jay and Josh! They came and completed work as stated. The great thing about using this company was the they saw that I did not have a grater for the fireplace and they gave me a high quality grater. This was a kindness that I will always remember. The young men were very professional and kind. They worked quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs chimney sweep or chimney repair work, they are fair.

It went very well. They were able to come early and were very polite and helpful. They even went the extra mile for me to go to Lowe's and pick up a cap for the dryer vent. They did a great job. They fireplace was a mess fro the previous owners a they cleaned it up beautifully. And even found a frying pan under all the ashes!

They called about 15 min before arrival. They inspected and cleaned my chimney. They let me know that I need a cap for my chimney, at which time they let me know what my options are for the caps, the pricing and the pros and cons of each type of cap. They also found that the trap door in my fireplace was loose and they fixed it for me with no additional charge. I would highly recommend this company.

I found A Cleaner Chimney on Angie's list. I could not be more pleased. These two young men really know about Chimneys and knew exactly what we needed for ours. I had one Chimney that we need to convert from gas to wood burning. Our home is older so they had to do extra work on this chimney so that it could handle the heat of burning wood. They also had to repair the damper and fix the mortar. Both of our chimneys are large, so the guys had custom made chimney caps built for our chimneys. They look great!
