Performance Heating & Cooling

Not a dependable company. Two of our HVAC systems went down less than one day after they performed preventative maintenance. They broke our attic ladder installing a new system. It took over two years for them to fix it. That new system, still under warranty, blows internal fuses every month. They don’t know why. They cannot even keep appointment times, coming before their appointment time or very late after. Found several screws out of unit after service. Looking for a better company.

They didn't do the correct repair under warranty and we ended up having to replace the whole unit. They did offer a discount.

Performance has always been great in dealing with our heating/cooling needs. Once we had a new technician come out, and they left a leak in the freon. When I called Performance and explained the problem, they immediately came out and corrected the problem at no additional cost to us.

Performance is courteous and prompt, and it charges reasonable prices.

It went good. They service my system for the year.

The air coming from my heat pump started getting cooler (on the heat setting). They arrived on time and said there was a leak in the freon pipe. The guy patched the pipe in a spot between the unit and the house. He also told us the compressor was going, so we'd need a whole new unit. The pipe patch only lasted a few days. We called another company who: 1) fixed the pipe leak 2) showed us where Performance neglected to remove the freon filter and instead added a second freon filter when they replaced the compressor a few years ago, which probably caused the new compressor to fail earlier since it had to push through two filters, and 3) quoted a much lower price than Performance to replace the compressor.

They were here within 2 days time after I told them the quote was good. They installed it within 5 hours and we were up and running quickly. They did a great job of installing an intake and didn't even charge me for it. They cleaned up, took all the trash with them, and it was a wonderful experience. They are highly respected in the community and I would recommend them to anyone.
