Total project took three days. A job well done. All work performed was high quality. Crew cleaned up at the end of each day, and at the end of the project. Brian Stancil and his two crew members were professional, and very willing to answer questions and explain each aspect of the operation. I have used Durward Stancil, Inc for other service work, and they have always done an excellent job.

The heat stopped working. The owner, Mr. Stancil, said the gas burner was shot and needed to be replaced, but the cost wasn't worth it compared to a getting new unit. We had him replace the whole unit. Everything was done in a day. The installation was very clean, nicely caulked, and the pipes were painted black to look better. They replaced the concrete slab and added a concrete slab between the unit and the house to prevent animals from digging under to get in the crawlspace. I was not aware they'd do this extra work, so it was a great surprise to see they went above and beyond just swapping out the unit! This is a small family run company that's been in business for a long time. The only negative is since they're a small shop it means you might wait a few days if they're busy working on a large installation for someone else. I'm very willing to wait occasionally in return for great quality and honest people.

Called company after a poor repair by another company. The owner arrived on time. He repaired the freon leak in a pipe. He clearly explained our options for replacing the compressor or the whole unit. We decided to replace the compressor. He also corrected a problem created by a prior company's repair, where they installed a second freon filter without removing the first filter. Having two filters likely caused the compressor to fail early. This good experience caused me to use this company again for replacement of our second HVAC unit.
