Description of Work: They were able to come out on a Sunday to fix an emergency problem. Was punctual and fast. Have used them previously and they always are easy to work with. Will use them again in the future.

 + -1 morePunctual. Friendly yet professional. Efficient. The job was completed in a very timely manner and the mess was cleaned up. Checked dripping kitchen faucet. Upon inspection informed me that due to the state of the faucet that if he took it apart he would most likely break it, then gave me the option of continuing the job, replacing the faucet or doing nothing at the present time. I was very pleased with the job.
Description of Work: Fixed leaking shower pipe inside bedroom wall.

Description of Work: The service was good came out the same day that I call diagnosed the problme with my AC unit fix it within 2 hours and was gone. Several others wanted me to replace the unit not try and repair it.

 + -1 moreThe company carefully listened to what I needed and then wrote up a scope of work including product cost as well as labor cost. They recommended a different brand from the one I requested, but would have been willing to install whatever I chose. After doing my own research, I decided that they knew what they were talking about. The materials were installed in a timely and professional manner. Our gas bills were cut by more than half, even though the cost of gas had increased. On basic repairs, they come within an hour of being called. They explain what needs to be fixed/replaced in a clear manner. The workers are polite, professional, and well-spoken. I am never uncomfortable having them in my home when I am alone.
Description of Work: Affordable installed a new LP furnace. They removed the existing system and installed and/or repaired existing duct work. They installed a new A coil as per my request, although they did not see it as a necessity. I have also had occassion to use Affordable to do repairs on my central air system. Twice they replaced parts and once they fixed an electrical problem.

 + -1 moreBest price in the area by far, but I got what I paid for. great service for the quote, but everything after fell apart. Non-commital on work dates, didn't return phone calls.. then just shows up at my house one day to do the work. Since nobody was home, then they finally call me back wondering were I am. After inital install it took multiple visits to get pipes located in correct place. Original installation woulnd't even allow the Stove to fit back between the cabinets. In the end they got it right, but it was a lot of hassle. Bottom Line: If you ONLY care about price, Affordable is the way to go... otherwise look elsewhere for better service.

 + -1 morePaying for a contract and having no one available on the weekends to come and fix our air conditioning was very unprofessional
Description of Work: We signed a one year contract with them to get discounted services on repairs etc. Our Air Conditioning went out over the weekend and we tried to get in touch with them on their "emergency line". After eight messages no one called us back. We contacted several other A/C places to get the work done and they all mentioned that this place has a habit of having no one on call on the weekends.
