+ -1 moreWe added on an addition to our house and this was the Worst contractor to come! The guys were very unprofessional!!!! Sloppy as anything we have ever seen!!!! Cost us more money after they left to get things right. AW promised the world and NOTHING. he said was true!!! Never on time, work was crappy, the guys could care less and left a mess!!!! How this guy is still in business I have no clue!!!!! Horrible experience!! We wouldn’t recommend AW or his company to anyone!!!! Would give them a 0 rating if it was possible!!!!!! The Worst Electrical Company around Wilson!!! Stay away from this crappy company!!!!! AW’s word is crap like his work!!! Don’t believe some of these positive reviews. I see a lot of them that are short and promise you they were paid!!!!! Total BS Rating!!!’ AW Letchworth Electrical should be a 1 rating!!!!! And just because there’s no 0!!!!!!

The other required an extended amount of troubleshooting, but the problem could not be found without more extensive troubleshooting and expense. After about 45 mins, I asked him to stop trying to find the problem. Since only one light switch was replaced, I think the price was too high.

+ -1 moreExcellently! Jake and his helper, Brooks, arrived at 8:05 a.m and were done, including cleanup, in two hours. Crew was neat, clean, courteous. Letchworth is our go-to for electrical work from now on.
Description of Work: Main purpose of call was short in dishwasher hookup, discovered by our flooring contractor when it knocked him across the kitchen. We also requested a junction box for the over-range microwave/vent hood, an over-counter light hard-wired, and power+cable extended up through the guest bedroom wall for a TV mount.

Description of Work: My home had so many different electrical needs I wasn't sure where to begin! What had happened in the past was I would have an electrician to the home to do something small like replace a receptacle. They would charge me a ridiculous price, prove themselves incompetent and I would never have them back. By the time A. W. came to do a walk through I had a typed list, single spaced, and a full page long. He looked in every room as well as the attic and outside workroom, he asked cogent questions, and he made some great suggestions for kitchen lighting. He asked what I wanted him to supply and what I wanted to pick out. Because this is electrical work, I have waited over a month before writing a review. I have given wires time to loosen and receptacles to fail! Everything is in perfect working order. A.W. assigned Brooks as the electrician in charge of my job and he had a helper each day for two days. A.W. did stop by daily to check on the progress, Brooks did an awesome job. Within five minutes, I was comfortable and confident that he knew what he was doing! I absolutely recommend A.W. Letchworth Electrical Company.

Description of Work: Wired an outside shop. Installed an exhaust fan, under-counter task lighting, and ceiling fixture in kitchen. Replaced exhaust fan in master bathroom. Replaced wall heating units in master and spare bathrooms. Replaced approximately 25 (almost all) receptacles. Replaced whole house attic exhaust fan. Added 2 circuits and ran check on circuit breaker. |My electrician's name was Brooks and he had a man working with him both days. Brooks was super hardworking, professional, and all around pleasant to have in the house. A.W., the owner of the company, did the initial walk through and he came to the house several times to check on the workers' progress and at the end of the job. He was very helpful, making note of what items I wanted to pick out myself and what I wanted him to bring to the site. He made suggestions on my kitchen task lighting needs. I have waited over 2 months before writing this review to give the job a chance to settle. So far, everything is first rate. I know I am not the easiest customer to please. A.W. Letchworth Electrical is probably the sixth electrical company I have had in my home. I would have a small job done, install a light or dimmer switch, which would not work within a few months and I would not be happy. The bill would be outrageous and I would never have them back. By the time Letchworth Electrical did this work we were just this side of living by candlelight.

Description of Work: The original date for the work was Tuesday 17th of July but had a mixup at scheduling and did not show up so we called them after noon and they apologized for the mix-up and offered to come out that afternoon (in the heat of the day-work is in attic) and we told them to wait till next morning so it wouldn't be so hot up there. On 18 Jul they arrived at 7:30 am and didn't stop till they were done and evenset the bed mattresses back on the bed under the bedroom fan for my husband who is 75 years old and can't get around very good. They installed an attic fan and a bedroom fan in record time...love these guys! Diane Bowman

He was VERY friendly and knowledgable, and so were the guys who came to do the work. They were on time, worked quickly, and didn't leave any trace that they were there. I was very impressed with their friendly nature.

+ -1 moreCalled this company for an estimate, gentleman came next day to give said estimate - was very nice and personable. Work was scheduled for the middle of the next week. Two guys arrived promptly at 8am, got to work and had work done in timely manner. Cleaned up debris after themselves. We installed the ceiling fans ourselves - everything was fine with the installation of the junction boxes. Would definitely use this company again for any additional work.
Description of Work: Installed two junction boxes on our front porch for us to use when installing outdoor ceiling fans. Went into attic and ran power from existing light up to front of house, drilled through porch ceiling and attached necessary wiring and boxes.
