I had this company repair a damage floor that was under a refrigerator in the Kitchen and in a closet. Bob said that we need Red Oak for the some of the repairs in the house. I knew that the flooring came from Lowes. I purchased the Red Oak to repair the bedroom closet. The old White Oak flooring that came the Laundry room was to be used for the repair in the Kitchen. Bob did all repairs in Red Oak, and that did not match the White Oak flooring. I ask Bob about the repair with the Red Oak. He told me that he could tell the difference between the Red Oak and White Oak, until he sealed the floor. He said that he has been doing hardwood flooring for 20 years. He did admit that he could have done a scratch test to determined White Oak or Red Oak. He never did the test. I was very unhappy with the results. We agree if I purchased the new flooring that Bob ordered that he would install and finish the new floor. The other problem that I found thru out the house was dirt in the finish of the clear coat. I have reach out to Bob about him installing the new flooring , I haven't heard back from him.

Heart pine floors in newly purchased home had some serious stains that Bob was able to remedy. He was prompt, courteous, and meticulous is seeing that our floors turned out to our expectations - and he sets high standards for himself. We asked him to do some additional work on our deck and that turned out better than expected, although there was no re-finishing involved. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone with a floor that needs to be refinished. He even asked me to call him after we had moved in so that he could do any touch-up on the floors that might be needed after the move.

We ran into a lot of unusual issues with our floor and Bob worked through them.
