+ -1 moreMy dog spilled my glass of ginger ale onto our 6 year old Lenovo laptop. After that, it wouldn't turn on. We tried a few simple fixes ourselves but with no luck. I took the laptop to the Silicon Savior and spoke with the gent who's name I don't remember. We discussed what happened. He checked a few things like the power cord and the power cord port/input (I don't know what it's called). He said I probably needed a new motherboard and priced out the part and the labor for me (about $60 for the motherboard and $100 for labor). I decided that it wasn't worth the cost of the repair. I really appreciated that he took the time to check the small things and that he didn't push me to get it repaired. He agreed that it probably wasn't worth the cost of the repair.
Description of Work: Checked out my laptop that had had soda spilled on it. Gave me an estimate on how much it would cost to repair. I decided not to have it repaired and appreciated that he didn't push me. He gave me as much information as he could up front so I could make an informed decision.
