Terrific! I was kept informed as to work schedule, given a proper written estimate, the guys cleaned up nicely at the end of the project. Since work has been done, we've had 2 heavy rain storms and all the drain work performed perfectly. So happy we went with Jonathan.

He seems to read my mind when it comes to landscape design...I usually just tell him to do whatever he thinks will look good and it always turns out better than expected. Not only is he brilliant at design, he is also extremely knowledgable about plant choices, plant health and designing for the future (what will look good in 10 years, not just the present). I reached out to Jonathan to get an estimate/recommendation for landscaping services for my back yard. Walkways were overgrown and had no design/plants. Jonathan reviewed the layout of my yard, irrigation system. Made recommendations based on what he thought would look best. He listened to me, when I stated which plants/shrubs I would like to see incorporated. He and his team took two days clean out the old mess, and lay the foundation for the new trees/plants/shrubs. The team was very efficient, clean and courteous. Arrived on time as scheduled. I would absolutely recommend Southern Landscapes to anyone.

Jonathon and his crew did a fantastic job solving an irrigation problem, planting new bushes and cleaning our front lawn. They also added dirt to level our back yard. Everything went great. John walked me through the process and made recommendations for the location and types of the sprinkler heads. Once the work was completed he showed me how to use the controls, as well as how to adjust, and maintain the sprinkler heads. Would definitely use Southern accents for any future landscaping needs. Jonathan was initially contacted to help us with an erosion issue which we thought would require a retaining wall (the wall was recommended by another landscaper). He assessed the situation and let us know the wall was not required and recommended a much simpler solution. He saved us thousands and so we could move on to another project we were wanting - a patio. His team did the work so quickly and did a beautiful job. I will definitely use his services again.

Wonderful! We have hired Jonathan and his team 3 times to complete seperate jobs. First was a french drain, which he was able to utilize the existing system and cuthis estimate in half. Second was landscaping and sod which has grown in nicely and look great. He was again able to get what wanted and stayed under budget. The third job he completed was a patio made of pavers and a stone wall. He again came in under budget. He and his team are respectful and kind. I have three small kids who were very excited and talkative about all the projects. He is our first call when we have an outside need! We definitely will hire again!

In building our new house I dealt with a bunch of different subcontractors from roofers, framers, plumbers, etc. and Jonathan and crew from Southern Accents Landscaping were leaps and bounds ahead of all other vendors we used. The owner, Jonathan met with me and spent the time to find out what I was looking for and make recommendations and suggestions for what would work well in soil and amount of sun vs shade. His communication throughout the process was excellent. The entire crew were professional, proficient, and thorough. They showed up when they said they would and worked neatly and quickly. I would highly recommend Southern accents and plan to use them to design and plant my business property, which is highly visible on NC 117.

I’ve used southern accents at my current home and my last house. I have been totally satisfied with their work. Both times the crew showed up on time, and performed the agreed upon work flawlessly. The owner made suggestions for a low maintenance plan and the work holds up nicely over time. They really pay attention to detail, and leave their work area spotless. Highly recommend.

Jonathan was very professional, and more importantly thorough with his estimates and alternatives/substitution suggestions to save project dollars. He started the project on time and completed in the promised timeframe without weather delays. The work site was also clean! This was the 2nd time we've used Southern Accents Landscape Design. Our wall looks amazing, got the work done quickly, and professionally. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

All the positive and awesome reviews made me want to work with this company. Unfortunately communicating with them was very difficult. My initial call, the 25th, was not answered but I left a message. They called me back on the 28th, unfortunately I was busy at work and could not answer and they left a message. I called back an hour later, with no luck again. Call again another hour later and no answer. I ended up resorting to contacting them through Angie's list instead of the phone and they called within an hour and was finally able to talk about getting a quote. Overall, from our conversation on the phone it didn't seem like he was very interested, but we schedule to meet on the next Monday anyways(although the time wasn't very clear, anywhere between 4 to after 5), and so I give him my address and instructions since it is a new subdivision. Luckily I was already working from home to get some other work done and I usually get off at 4 anyways, because they never showed up and i got no call saying they would not make it. I was called this morning to schedule a time to meet, even though we had already discussed to meet Monday. At this point I had already decided to move forward and find someone else. If communication is this difficult to get a quote, I don't want to take the chance to see what it is like after starting the project. Overall I give a D. I don't think it is fair to give an F since I don't know the quality of their work, but the communication was bad enough for me to not get the chance to see what the quality was like.

It went perfectly. Had to relevel yard, reestablish grass, establish a drain system and repair sprinkler system. Jonathan is great at understanding your requirements and coming up with a super plan. His communication is excellent and he is always available when you need him. His crew is exceptional. He was on schedule and under budget. Top level pro in this business. I will rehire for any job.
