They did an excellent job! Tony is very professional and checked on things along the way. We are very happy we used them and will use them again in the future.

Tony Lewis of Shoreline Landscaping did an excellent job in rebuilding our backyard this Spring, after Hurricane Florence had knocked down 9 trees, and hammered the lawn and bushes out back last Fall. He was very responsive to our questions and concerns, and always came when he said he or his crew would. Tony and his crew regraded the craters left by the fallen trees, resodded the lawn, planted several good-sized replacement trees, and generally made the backyard look wonderful again! Their plants are clearly very healthy, and I'd use them again any time!

Tony was fantastic, after an initial consultation and estimate we decided to go with Shoreline. The estimate was within $20 of the final price. I can't compliment Tony, Pedro and Jose enough. They did fantastic work, clearly communicated everything that was scheduled and arrived on the day/time that they committed to. I plan on using them again for some additional work we have scheduled for this Winter. Highly recommend this team as they are top notch.

I take it all back, or at least most of it. My revised opinion of Mr. Lewis and Shoreline is due to: -Excessive markups on everything: plants, flagstones, pine straw, mulch. By excessive, I mean 80% or more over retail prices (which is not what a landscaper is charged, so double wholesale prices?). This is in addition to labor costs. -Our concern that we were charged for plants we didn?t get. We were invoiced for 40 additional liriopes, which I believe were purchased but not all planted. -His failure to deliver unused flagstones that we paid quite a bit for. Supposedly only 5 stones remain (which we have no way of verifying). In any event, I?ve asked multiple times over the past 6 months to have them dropped off - to no avail. Perhaps because he no longer has them? -Issues with ligustrums and some of camellias he planted. When I asked about yellow spots on the camellia leaves, he didn't bother to check them out and pooh-poohed what turned out to be a root stock virus. He also disregarded my concerns about the ligustrum leaves, which turned out to have cerscospora fungus. Not his fault but it would have been helpful to identify and address the problem early. I've since learned that ligustrum is susceptible to this fungus, which would have been good to know in advance. -Possibly inadequate planting bed prep. I found weeds with major root systems in early spring in the area that was planted in fall, so basically one season later. Maybe but it seems extreme even for this climate.

He is a wonderful landscaper. He has done a fabulous job. I love the work that he does.

This was AMAZING work. Tony, the owner of the company, saw what we had. We talked through different ways to make the yard look more sellable. He tried to use what we had, which was a lot of mature, scraggly bushes and trees with no order. Kept expenses low. Very industrious owner and workers. Very personable owner who responded quickly to texts, emails, and phone calls. I appreciated his quick responses even though this was a small time job. No puffery--he'll tell you straight what you have, don't have, and need with regard to landscape design, health of the plants, and sprinkler system. Began and ended when he said he would. Very happy with results. My neighbors are already complimenting.
