He did a fantastic job. He let me take my time to be able to buy all the fixtures and worked with me. His price was very reasonable. I had someone before him and Erik did a great job fixing the issues that the other provider left behind. I am very pleased with Erik's work.

First class company! They came exactly when they said they would, they did everything they said they would do. The crew was polite, professional, and best of all d*** good! Steve the lead carpenter even went way beyond the scope of agreed to work, when presented with additional problems on the job due to water damaged wood. I will use Erik's company every time I have any home repair that I want done in the future.

Had a two and a half week wait before services could begin, which was okay. The workers were courteous and professional, and the quality of the work was outstanding. I have a relatively small bath with 9' irregular ceilings, and the crown molding miters were perfect. They started about 9 am and were finished by 2:30 pm. I gave a lower grade to the price, because I was expecting the 15% discount of the coupon but received less than 8% ($100 off of $1300). I gave a B because any discount is better than none. Will definitely use them again for my next bedroom and bath update.

They are amazing. They were always here when they said they'd be here, they finished their job early and they did a really good job. I didn't pay for it.

Erik and his whole crew were wonderful throughout the whole process. They paid attention to details. The company who actually contracted with him pulled some stall tactics as they had done with me for about a year. (I.e., the replacement tub arrived about a week-and- a half to close to two weeks after it was supposed to be installed.) He worked with both of us efficiently. I can;t speak for them, but I am extremely happy that they chose to use him for my project. I hope they paid him on time. I would recommend Remodeling by Erik to anyone, without hesitation.

We have a house in the Holden Beach area that needed a lot of work. From the first inquiry, Erik was very responsive and professional. He was always prompt when returning calls and providing information. For a waterfront house that had not been painted for probably 15+ years, there was a lot of maintenance to be done. Erik was able to accurately diagnose all the issues, and made the appropriate recommendations on what needed to be done immediately and what could wait. Although his pricing was slightly higher than the other vendors we contacted, we felt that the quality of work that Erik described was worth the extra price. The first day, Erik and the carpentry and paint crews showed up at the expected time. We reviewed the quote again, and went through the work items that needed to be completed. I added a couple of items that I wanted the carpenter to take care of while he was there, and they were able to complete those items during the week as well for a minimal additional charge. The crews were hard working, courteous, friendly and professional. They worked long hours each day. Prep work and painting was meticulous. I was present at the home the entire time the crews were working, and found very few items that needed correcting. The crew leaders would always ask about anything if they had a question. They were very keen on doing things right, and even did a few little extras - changed a light bulb in the outdoor flood fixture, tightened a plate on the doorbell, etc. It was obvious that they cared enough to do a great job, and were not just rushing through the work. At the end of each day, all trash was picked up and the work areas were left clean and tidy. They consistently asked if everything was looking ok and if the job was going as expected. We were very pleased with the company's professionalism, timeliness, communication, and work product. We will definitely call Erik again for our future needs.

They are very good. He is superb, everything he did was good, the pricing, he was on time, he was professional in everyway, and I can't say enough about Erik. I had used him before. He conducts himself in a professional manner, he is punctual and on time, he gives very high quality work at a reasonable price and that is why I continue using him.

Erik is a pleasure to deal with and returns call in what was, for me, a very reasonable time (within 1 to 1.5 business days). He was incredibly patient and helpful to me in picking out paint colors and his painting crew are professional, friendly and do fabulous work. He stuck to the price agreed and I would not hestitate to recommend him to anyone.

Eric and his team did an excellent job on my home. The painting was an incredible value in that I got a great paint job (i.e. crisp straight lines, good cutting in, etc.), using high quality paint (I chose Benjamin Moore colors) for a very reasonable price. The painters were very nice, professional, courteous, and skillful. They were in my home for almost two weeks and it was always the same group of five, with a guy named Jimmy as the guy in charge, and they couldn't have been nicer. You can't do a job that large and not have some small mistakes, so when I saw a drip or minor flaw, they would fix it right away and right. On the carpentry work, his carpenters also did a very nice job. Save for a couple small changes we had to make in the beginning and a flaw they didn't see but I caught, it was another great job for a very reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to have them do any other drywall or carpentry work in this house, because frankly, I couldn't have gotten this kind of work for this price from anyone else I don't think. Above and beyond the work quality, Eric is a very nice person and understands the importance of making his customers happy. Every day, I would check things out just to make sure nothing was missed, and on the couple occasions I had to point something out, he accepted it with a smile and had no problems just pointing it out to his crew to get it fixed. I could tell he is just a patient person in general, so it not only was a relief to me, but also helped to make this experience very stress-free. What a bummer when anyone in business takes things like that personal... I would recommend Eric for any of your painting or carpentry needs, and wouldn't hesitate to use him again!

Remodeling By Erik was on time, very professional, stayed within his estimate and cleaned up the job very well. We were very satisfied. I think he's honest, reliable and he does good work.

The house was rented for a year and was destroyed by the tenants. It is a small 1500 sq foot ranch from 1970. Erik and his team made a bad situation very pleasant. I really enjoyed working with him and his crew. The house is in an older neighborhood with a lower price point. I was planning on selling the property when we were done. The crew was professional and Erik's was very punctual returning my calls. The quality of work was exceptional. The house was amazing when it was done. I can't believe it is the same place. Another pleasant surprise was that Eric would help me make financially smart decisions about the upgrades. For example, I wanted to do an expensive remodel in the bathroom and remove some walls. He pointed out some lower cost solutions that would have the same results. This is such a great team and I was actually sad when the renovations ended!

He has been prompt, professional and thorough. I would rate him overall an A.

Could not be happier. Returned calls and emails very quickly. Crew was always there. Completed work quickly with minimum impact on resident. So happy, we are having him replace all the windows in the house in a few weeks. Cost was exactly as quoted.

Erik was extremely professional and punctual. We obtained an estimate for the work to be performed and the report we received was very detailed and informational. However, this company was very expensive compared to the other estimates we received. Most likely because this business normally performs work on high end, luxurious beach houses and we were only needing work on a 3 bedroom average style house. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and friendliness but just couldn't afford the higher end products.

Called Erik and asked for a quote on some work. He was a nice enough guy, we had some trouble scheduling. He finally worked me in and came down and looked at everything. I must have scared him off, because his suggestion was for me to work out a few details and he'd call back in a few days and come look at it again to give me a price. I never heard back from him.

We found our roofer through Angie's List. The original roofer refused to make some repairs or assist with the identification of a leak. The roofer worked diligently over several months to fix the leak but the leak was deep into the roof construction. The roofer contacted Remodeling by Erik to provide interior services for identifying the source of the leak. We were pleased with the work and if we had a remodeling project we would definitely consider Remodeling by Erik.

Erik was phenomenal. I got him through the roofer. The roofer works hand in hand with him and when there is an inside job to do, he calls Erik and he does it. His service was excellent. He is very punctual. He gives you one quote. He does the job right. He does everything that he says he is going to do.

This company is outstanding. His work is excellent. He is very reasonable as well. His prices are very fair. I have used him two or three times. He has given good service in the past as well. I rate him high overall. I rate him high overall. I did not feel like I was being ripped off by him.
