Precision Cut Tile Installers

Ceramic tile installed excellent. that is his forte. He convinced us to let him install bamboo hardwoods also(this would streamline the project and allow us to hire just one installer). Fast talker, but knew his stuff. No contract to sign because and quot;if a handshake isnt good enough, then what is?and quot; (his words) Long story short... 3 weeks to install tile and hardwoods in 1,100 square feet. He didnt have a helper, he had a side job at the airport in the evenings(so he cut out at 1 or 2 pm) AND he took 2 jobs in the middle of our installation project!! All the furniture in our home was in our one car garage for three weeks! He gave us a 10 day work order on arrival and went way beyond. That said. great job with tile.... but having a second job, it seemed he rushed through our hardwood installation with MANY glaring mistakes. He was always racing the clock to get to his second job! Anyway, made contact 5 months later to repair mistakes in hardwood installation( mis-cuts, gaps, etc.) MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. Never showed... My wife called and he said he was busy with and quot;paying customersand quot; and talked about gas money to come and see his debacle and time it would take etc.....I'm sorry to give a negative review, but I saved and paid a lot of money for flooring and I'm living with his mistakes everyday.... 7/29/13 Our project was to replace carpeting on a concrete slab using 18and quot; X 18and quot; travertine tiles butting up to wood laminate flooring. The finished difference in the height of the two floors would be 3/8and quot; to 1/2and quot;. Flooring products on the market are limited and don't offer esthetically pleasing transitions. The job site was clean and the job was completed in the time frame which Peter had said it would be. The finished floor is beautiful AND the transition between the two types of flooring is amazing. Peter came up with an idea to go from laminate to travertine without using retail transition solutions. The difference in the two flooring heights is smooth and not noticeable when you traverse from one to the other. When we need more tile work done, there is no doubt that Peter Desmond will be our 1st choice.
