We have hired fence companies several times over the years and were most impressed by Port City Fence than any of the competition. They did beautiful work at a fair price and were professional and a joy to work with. I highly recommend them and would unquestionably use them again.

Mr. Russell does superior work. I choose him because he had installed fences for Trusst Builder Group in Hearthstone where I live. Given Trusst's reputation for quality I thought he'd be a good choice. I was correct. For both fences, installed several years apart, he came to the house and helped me think through the details of the install. I changed my mind mid-project on the wooden fence and Mr. Russell did not miss a beat. He patiently advised me as to the best approach with regard to appearance and HOA approval. Both worked out great. The men who did the install also asked my about every detail to ensure I was happy from where to put the gate hinges to which way the gate was to swing. They worked hard and long during very hot weather. The stain job was also done thoroughly. A great value and great quality work.

Sonny was the subcontractor our developer used. When I needed additional fencing, I called him. Sonny was slow to respond and didn't return phone calls. This past spring I called him again to cut off the bottom of the fence due to water damage. He came out after several phone calls and promised to send me a quote. It is now August and I have never heard from Sonny again. I will now find a new vendor. Our five year old fence is cracking and the molding around the post copper caps has repeatedly come off. The fence was installd too close to the ground so I have water damage.

It went very well. They installed a fence for me in 2010. I liked the quality of the fence, installation, and the professionalism. I relocated to a different city in March 2014 and had them install an identical fence again! You will not be disappointed!

Found Sonny based on recommendations through Angies list. Called Sonny to set up an appointment for an estimate. Sonny called right back and we set a time for thursday the 27th at 3pm. Sonny was about 20 minutes late getting to the house, although he had called to let me know he was running late due to the job before. he had come out to take a look at the fencing that we needed done in our front yard. He explained that it was a pretty simple job, could be done in a morning. He said that he had to take a quick measurement and he would have an appraisal to me that weekend. we shook hands and I headed into the house. noticed that by the time i had gotten to my front door hee was already in his truck and backing out of the drive way. Im not even convinced that he had taken the measurement. the weekend went by, and I had not received the estimate, gave him the benefit of the doubt that he had some other jobs or family matters to attend to. gave it a few more days and gave him a ring. no answer, and voice mail was full. Knowing it was a cellphone I sent him a text message giving him the info to the property and my email asking him if he could email me the estimate. a few more days had gone by and nothing. so I called again, this time left a message telling him we had some other estimates and we were only waiting on his before we make a decision, asked him again to email or call me back. a week later and I still haven't heard back from Sonny.

Received pricing for wood and chain-link fencing. Pricing was in line with we thought it would be. However, unforeseen circumstances with other contractor prevented going forward with fence. Down the road. Would consider using them for the job.

Sonny was excellent! He responded to my call and was here very quickly to give a very reasonable estimate. His truck was clean and he was neat and very knowledgeable about what needed to be done.The work performed was perfect. I will use this company whenever I have another fence issue and am hoping he will decide to branch out and start doing underground fences, as I'll need one of those in a few months. I would absolutely give that job to Sonny and no one else. I certainly do recommend this company. I cannot praise them enough. Wonderful experience.

Set up an appointment with Sonny to write an estimate in the early evening to accommodate my work schedule, he showed up promptly at the scheduled time. Looked over some examples of his previous jobs to get some ideas, talked about different options. He made some good suggestions that hadn't occurred to me but made a lot of sense once he mentioned them, I appreciated his expert advice to help my decision making. Received and agreed to the estimate the next day, work started approximately 2 weeks later. Old fence removed and new posts set one day, then the rest of the work was completed about a week later (crew came out on the weekend both times, finished up on a sunday). Nice that they are willing to work weekends to get the job done in a reasonable time period. Final bill came in right on target as far as price, even though I requested a small extra section of fence after the initial estimate. Finished product looks very nice and is sturdy, I have received quite a few compliments on it as well. Totally satisfied and would choose Port City Fence again, actually planning to hire them to fence my backyard to match the front at a later date.
