Description of Work: Identified the problem with the unit not turning on and also checked the unit to see if there were any other issues while they were there and everything checked out. Very nice and professional.

Description of Work: Was able to come out within a few hours to diagnose our A/C unit, which stopped working. Told us we needed to change filter, that a clogged filter had froze up another part. Also said a part needed to be replaced. I agreed to service and fee mainly because we really needed our AC working again. It's been about 2 months since and the same problem happened again (air filter was clean this time). Maybe if I called they will come take a look for free. I'm not sure if they guarantee their work.

Description of Work: I contracted with O'Brian to provide yearly planned maintenance to my HVAC System. Technician arrived as scheduled and performed a thorough systems check. The technician was extremely professional and explained everything he did and why. I am very satisfied with the services rendered and plan to keep O'Brian as my maintenance provider. **Note** There was no cost associated with this service event as I contracted earlier with O'Brian for a yearly maintenance agreement.

Description of Work: The system wasn't cooling. They did a thorough system check, found a blockage in the drainage system, removed the blockage, and the system works fine. He also did a few things to clean up the installation, making it more serviceable. I also purchased a maintenance contract for 3 units.

Description of Work: Inspection of heat pump & air handler in 20 year old home I recently purchased. Identified a few items that could be replaced but recommended holding off as system will need replacing in next year or two. Replacing those items now would not be a good use of funds. Felt this was a very honest assessment.

Description of Work: O'BRIEN SERVICE CO came out to provide a quote on a new heat pump for our home. When scheduling the appointment, they did everything they could to schedule it at a time that worked for me. The sale representative was punctual and professional. During his assessment he was very informative, explaining everything he was doing and why he was doing it. Of the different companies that came out to quote our new unit, O'Brien was the most thorough, however, because of this, it did take quite a bit longer than the other companies. After the assessment, they sat down to discuss our different options. Again, this process was the most thorough. He had a computer and printer and was able to print out several different documents including different options I had for different units. Again this took quite a bit longer than the other competitors because of the amount of information that was collected from me and then provided to me. The sales representative was knowledgeable and was easily able to explain all the different options to me and why I would want each one. He was honest and upfront not trying to push me in any one direction. Prices on units were very reasonable and in fact were the cheapest of the 3 quotes I received for essentially the same unit as competitors. Most importantly, he did not try and push me to purchase a unit that day. The financing that was offered was also superb. Would highly recommend.

Description of Work: In our two-year old home, O'Brien replaced our problematic and poorly performing two-year old high-efficiency Carrier heat pump, air handler, Carrier Infinity Air Purifier (which never worked), three-zone system with a higher efficiency Trane system with intelligent controls and corrected a very poorly designed and very poorly installed duct system, which resolved air flow / home comfort problems. The O'Brien team, comprised of knowledgeable, responsive management and skilled technicians, showed up on time, worked very hard for three full days, and delivered everything they promised. Highly recommend them for any heating or air conditioning needs you may have.
