Nixons Plumbing & Repair

Things went well......... I will use Mr. Nixon again.

Called this am, they came four hours later, made repair and explained all. They only do repairs, not home installations which I liked.

Mr. Nixon was called in by the contractor performing replacement of our kitchen countertops. A leak had been discovered in a major drain pipe carrying drainage from an upstairs bathroom. The pipe was located behind a kitchen wall. At the same time, we had evidence that there was a leak from that bathroom staining the dining room ceiling; we assumed the two leaks were related. Mr. Nixon and his helper determined quickly that the two leaks were not related. They efficiently identified the source of each one and repaired them. The leak behind the kitchen wall resulted from screws having been driven through the wall into the drain pipe; repair required replacement of about 3 feet of drain pipe. The other leak--a faulty tub gasket-- was more easily fixed, but was harder to find. Mr. Nixon was friendly and professional and did his work without causing undue mess or damage. Overall, having him do this work for us was a pleasant and not-too-expensive experience.
