Outstanding! They responded promptly to phone inquiry. On day of work, they were punctual, pleasant, friendly, qualified, competent, and professional in every way.. We needed an electrician to fish two new cable outlets through the walls of our home when the cable people were not able to do it. We are new to the Wilmington area and checked with Angie's List to locate an electrician. We chose Meade Electric Company based on the good reviews that were posted online. I spoke with Brian Meade and explained what was needed. He was very pleasant and said that an electrician, Steve, would be at our home the following morning. He arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time, immediately understood what we needed, and did an excellent job for us. We were very pleased with his work. He did the job in a most professional manner, and finished in less than two hours. When we received the bill a couple of weeks later, we were very pleased with the charges that we felt were reasonable. This was a very good experience for us, and we highly recommend Meade Electric to anyone who has need for very professional and reasonable electrical work.

I had used Meade Electric Company a week earlier to install two cable outlets in our home and was very pleased with their work. I purchased a new gas range for my kitchen, and this required the installation of a 120 volt receptacle to power the lights and igniter. I spoke with Brian Meade and explained the scope of the work that was needed. He scheduled an electrician to come out after the range was delivered, and he arrived within a few minutes of the stated time. The electrician, Steve, was very professional and finished the work within about an hour. The charges were very reasonable. I highly recommend Meade Electric Company, and I will use them again whenever I have a need for quality work.

I called Meade Electric on 7/8/11 after reading reviews on Angie's List. I left a message and received a return call in about an hour. This was not an emergency and they scheduled me for 8 AM on 7/12/11 and estimated it would cost $85. Clint arrived a few minutes early (which was just fine with me) and completed the job in about an hour. They were friendly, professional and I will definitely use them again!

They did a very good job overall! They advised of what they could do and what they couldn’t do upfront. I appreciated them being so honest. They were also punctual to the job.

Bryan and Clint were extrememly professional and completed the work as promised from start to finish. Clint helped walk me through finding and buying the correct brackets to hang the TV online, to save me some money. He had to crawl under the house to run the wires, and was cheerful and did the work perfectly. He even called about a week after it was completed to make sure everything was still working in good order. You don't find good work or workethic like this often. I highly recommend.

I called Brian and left a message to call me. He responded later THAT DAY. He came out the next day earlier than his appointment time,( that was good) checked everything out and we made an appointment to fix my problem . He came back on that day,ON TIME,made the repairs in a timely manner I thought Brian's price for the work was very reasonable.

Electrician came earlier than promised. Checked unit and finally determined batteies were the cause. Located two batteries in town. Obtained batteries and returned immediately. Total job took about two hours

Appointment was originally schedule for 12:30, but Steve called approximately an hour before to let me know he was running late. When Steve arrived, I explained the situation and my thoughts on what should be done. He agreed, so set about finding the best solution to the problem. Steve was very respectful of my home and my pets. He completeld the work in a timely manner and all seems to be working perfect. It was a pleasure working with this company.

Called back within an hour ,came to the house that afternoon. Performed service cheerfully and professionally and explained the problem and what he was doing. Terrific service. Glad to find this excellent electrician.

Bryan arrived at the prearranged time (9am), bringing what he thought would be the needed part ( - remember, he had not previously been to my house, and so had not had an opportunity to actually see what he would need). The fan apparently comes in two standard sizes, one size be much more common than the other. He brought the more commonly used size, but it was the wrong one. He made a quick trip to the electric supply shop (the driving time alone should have been at least 30 minutes round trip, but he was back in less than that), switched out the fan - which took a bit of manipulation of the parts ... removing the blade from the motor shaft in order to fit the motor behind the supporting brackets for the roof dome, then reattaching the blade to the shaft after the motor and blade were in position under the dome ... and voila! he was done (well, except for the wiring connection, but that was the easiest part).

Work went well. There were a couple of instances where an outlet was not working properly or where the job had not been completed 100%. When I called about these issues, they were very responsive and had someone out here immediately.

He was friendly, knowledgeable and very willing to find the source of my problem within a short period of time. He also looked at the pressure washer to see why it had caused this problem and made recommendations on how to prevent this from happening again. I was very impressed with his service and would highly recommend him.
