Great. Punctual, polite and professional. Good to work with, willing to discuss ideas and Stephen worked diligently in getting the work done.

I called early in the morning and my call was returned by Bryan within an hour. I was told Clint was on a call but would call me before he headed to my home to help with my lack of electricity in one of my rooms. Clint called right around lunchtime and was here in a few minutes. He quickly assessed the problem and replaced one of the breakers. He was polite and quick. I will definitely call this company for any future work or problems that arise.

I purchased a new AC Unit from O'Brien Service Co a year or so ago. Recently, it stopped working unexpectedly and I called O'Brien to take a look. I was impressed how quickly they responded. We found that it was not a problem with the AC but with the electrical going to the furnace. So they had me call Meade Electric who does O'Brien's installs and servicing. Meade was there in less than an hour.... having not 1 but 2 service calls respond that quickly blew me away. They found that something had fallen behind an appliance in my home and accidentally flipped a switch off on the side of a junction box.... simple.... Brian flipped the switch back on and all was fixed. He refused to charge me even after I explained to him that I understand his time is valuable and I was happy to pay.... he still refused. That integrity and customer service is so hard to find these days. Needless to say I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Meade Electric and will be calling them again.

Had to add a few outlets, switch chandeliers and install the bracket and do all the electrical work for a TV above the fireplace. The whole experience went well; owner and worker were very courteous and professional and did the work well and was reasonably priced. Would definitely use them again.

Brian showed up right when he said he would, was friendly and professional. He gave us an estimate and we scheduled the work. The electrician who did the work was also punctual and professional and did a quality job for about $100 below the estimate.i will use them for any electrical job I may have in the future.

After having a bad experience with a contractor that we could not get to respond after he pulled a permit, we called Meade on a recommendation from a friend (also an electrician, but too busy to do the work himself). Meade responded immediately and met us within a day. We were impressed with his professionalism and warmth. Installed new meter, new circuit box to home. Reviewed plan for wiring and provided solutions/plans for moving forward with project. We look forward to working with Meade as we continue on our renovations!

They are conscientious. They come and do their work and if you ask questions, they do not make you feel like an idiot. I would use them again.

The work was very professional and the owner Brian and his crew were very ponctual and informative. The work was executed promptly. Communication with the contractor was easy and call back were answer quicky. The contractor was also very good at providing different options for the scope of work. The whole process was fair, speedy and professional. Brian and his crew in this case Clint are excellent electricians and i would use them again.

It was completed in one day. Kevin , had a good crew of about 8 men. His crew were very nice and very good workers ! I have only good things to say about everything !! I would refer him to anyone ! And I love my new roof !!!

Replaced circuit breaker and ran wire to new location

This was our 1st time using Angie's List and we couldn't be more pleased. We called Meade Electric on a Friday afternoon after discovering that a number of our outlets were not getting electricity. I left a voicemail message and received a return call within 3 minutes. Bryan, the owner, was at our door about 10 minutes later! He was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He located and repaired a defective circuit. From my 1st call to the completion of the job it took no more than an hour! Best service ever! We will definitely use him again for any electrical needs.

We had circuit and appliance issues after a lightning storm. Once I called, someone came out the same day, narrowed down which was an electrical issue and which was a problem with a tv. He also looked at a new problem in our garage I discovered after my initial call to the company.

I called. they showed up same day, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. during the diagnosis I was told if they could not find the problem I would not be charged. bryan was professional and polite and is recommended by me. I will use his service again without hesitation.

I called early Monday morning and spoke to the owner. Randy. who was extremely courteous, kind and very helpful. We needed a TV cable installed very quickly. The owner had one of his employee's, Steve, at our house within a few minutes and did the job quickly and professionally. I highly recommend this company.

When my husband decided he simply did not have enough light in his FROG gym we bought new fixtures and called a firm we had been quite pleased with in the past. However, after leaving two separate messages requesting callbacks and getting no response, I decided to go elsewhere. I called this firm (based on Angie's list reviews) on Thursday morning and left a message about the work to be done and requested a callback. That afternoon I got the call and was told the work could be done the next morning. We set the appointment for 8 am Friday. Clint arrived promptly at 8 am and set to work. He was done by 10:30. Clint was prompt, professional, neat, and eager to answer any questions we had. I don't know what more we could have asked. Twenty-four hours from start to finish! Great!

Very well. Showed up on time, finished the work efficiently and left the work area clean as he found it.

They were always professional to work with - they had to come back to the job over several weeks to work around other contractors working on cabinets etc. Bryan was very reasonable and helpful to me considering the amount of work needed on my house and the corrections of all prior subpar work the prior owner had performed.

Brian's two electricians, Steve and Clint, were on the job almost every day for nearly two weeks, often working in tight spaces in the attic and in the crawlspace under the house. They showed up when they said they would and, on those few days when they needed to attend to another job, they let me know about it in advance. They did their best to minimize damage to my walls as they created routes for upgraded cabling. I was especially impressed with this, because I had feared I would be facing rather extensive sheetrock repairs. (Very little of these repairs were necessary, as it turned out.) Steve and Clint were careful to ask me my preferences in colors, sizes and placement of switches, outlets and plates, and they were diligent in vacuuming up after their work at the end of every day. They were always respectful, cheerful, punctual, and professional in every way. My understanding is that the company does a variety of commercial projects (billboards, businesses, electric gates,, etc)., in addition to residential jobs both large and small. They made me feel that my project was just as important to them as any commercial job. I would be happy to recommend Meade Electric to anyone in my area who needs top quality electrical work.

Brian and Tom arrived on time (actually a little early!) and went right to work. Both were very professional and answered listened when I told them what I wanted done. They were friendly and outgoing, attentive to the needs of their customer, and very helpful with the zillions of questions I had. Considering the walls had to be cut out to replace some switches, the dust was minimal. They did not have some of the parts needed, but Brian returned later that afternoon to finish the job.

Showed up the same day for an estimate. Original estimate was $430.00 which was about what I paid another local electrician to do the same sort of work previously in a different part of my house. The actual cost was about $200 under the bid. Which made them a whole lot cheaper than the competition. And the work was MUCH better done. First of all they actually pulled a permit with New Hanover County Inspections (which I know in fact happened because the inspector came to my house a few weeks later and inspected the work. They showed up on time, worked fast, cleaned up and just did a fantastic job. They invoiced me later and like it said it was WAY cheaper than the estimate. I hate hiring trades in Wilmington because it's so hard to find real professionals. Meade Electrical is the exception!! I love these guys and will DEFINITELY use only them from now on.

We had to have a new outlet put in our wall. Brian returned my call and came out right away. He got the necessary permit and schedule the inspection. He did a beautiful job, was very pleasant and his price was great!

i compared many other companies young man was the most honest and up front about my work i needed and also what i didn't need but i was told by others i did right up front with estimate with no surprises at the end of work clean quick and on time i was refunded money at the end i had wiring work done and fixtures put in. this is company to choose #1 i will definitly use in future finally an honest contracter
