Description of Work: The first piece of Granite broke in the initial installation, back in beginning of April. I waited for 40 + day for another piece of Granite. I was out of town when the Granite Company wanted to install the new piece. I received my text with a picture and it looked great. I was told it was the same Granite as before. I was also told that this piece was much better then before. I told him to order the Granite that he sent a picture of from his phone. I called and wanted to see the whole piece of Granite before it was cut up. By the time I got the phone call back, it was cut and ready to install. I keep hearing that it was GREAT and it was Perfect. I have been being without a kitchen for over 40 days so I was happy to have it done sooner then later. I was out of town for work and I had a friend on mine meet them that day of the installation. It went in without a problem. I got home a few days later and found that didn't drill the hole for the faucet, and found to be a different color, It was cut a half inch short on the sink side and a good size gap on far right corner. I was not happy with this service. It took 10 day for the owner to show and tell not problem, and it was an easy fix. I also found that the under mounted sink didn't have all of the proper clips installed. I question the installation of the Granite, and way the second time around went so wrong. He told me that he was very busy and lost track of the quality control of the installation with his other guys. So our installation suffered. At the end, he agreed that remove the piece of granite and refund the down deposit. I feel that it was the best thing for everyone.

 + -1 moreHector called and asked if they could do the job a day early! (How often does THAT happen?) He arrived exactly on time with four men who dismantled the old kitchen countertops in 45 minutes and lugged in the new pieces. The roughly L-shape was cut to accommodate the sink and stove with no seams. The tiles go from edge of counter to under the cabinets and are beautiful. I am very impressed with the quality of their workmanship and highly recommend them. Any time I can support our local businesses, I try to do so.
Description of Work: The business owner, Hector, came to the house, first to measure, then to template for a complete kitchen re-do including granite, tile and an under-mount stainless steel sink. He was prompt an professional and undercut the big-box stores in both price and quality
