Description of Work: This was the worst HVAC service I have ever used. I purchased the 20 point AC tune-up service special on Angie's list then called for an appointment. This went fairly well although we had to change our appointment but that was not there fault but mine. I could not be there for the service, however my 23 year old son was there since he works at night. The technician barely spoke to my son and went about completing the task. After he was done he left no paperwork, made no comments, and gave absolutely no feedback regarding the condition of our systems. He did not even let my son know he was done. He simply left 20 minutes after he arrived! Call me crazy but I don't think a 20 point inspection/service can be completed that fast. He may have done a decent job but we would have no way of knowing what was checked without having following him through the house since he left no paperwork!. This behavior was very unprofessional and this company will never be used by myself or my neighbors again! Very disappointing....

I was most impressed with the zero pressure service suggestions. I would without a doubt recommend Indoor Comfort to anyone with HVAC needs.

+ -1 moreIndoor Comfort "came with" the house that we purchased in Wilmington in that Jeff had been performing the semi-annual system check-ups for the previous owners. We continued utilizing Indoor Comfort for the same services. Upon returning home on a Friday evening we found that the heating system was not operating. Not even the digital thermostat had a display. Everything else in the house operated normally. After checking the circuit breaker panel for the system and finding it in its normal configuration, we called Jeff and left a message. We didn't expect to hear from him until the next morning at the earliest because of the late hour of our call. However, Jeff returned our call in about fifteen minutes. He told us he would be over the next morning (Saturday). Jeff arrived as promised and restored the heat to the house. Our experience with Indoor Comfort has always been positive. Jeff is responsive, punctual, and very professional. We never hesitate to use his services.
Description of Work: Indoor Comfort restored the heating to our home. Jeff Wiler (owner, Indoor Comfort) came on a Saturday morning and quickly diagnosed the problem with our electric heating system. Turns out it was a blown fuse that was behind two access panels within the air handling unit. Jeff replaced the fuse, checked out the system, ensuring it was operating properly, and left us a spare fuse should it happen again.

+ -1 moreVery impressive company. I have used this company several times in the past to work on my old heat pump (a friend recommended them to me). When the time came for me to replace my heat pump, they were my choice. They worked with me on getting quotes, explaining the difference between heat pumps, etc. They were very professional and did a wonderful job. No complaints at all.
Description of Work: I had a new heat pump and air handler installed by Indoor Comfort. I cannot remember the exact cost- between $4,000 - 5,000.
