Our master shower has an unusual floor. It's a rock finish and soon after installation it started looking bad because of the rock is very pourous and, although we have a water softener, the water was leaving a bad residue on the floor and the bottom walls of the ceramic tile. The owner of Grout Works, seemed to take this as a real challenge and did some research and came back and with a product that sealed the rock floor and brought it back to life. He also, sealed the grout on the shower walls that had looked terrible. The shower now looks like we expected it to, The owner left the balance of the product that he used for the shower floor for me to use occassionally to build up a thick seal. I would recommend this company for any problem that you have similar to mine or any grout issues, nice to have a quality specialty company like this locally that has reasonable costs.

When I called Grout Works, Josh politely introduced himself, and enthusiastically thanked me for calling. After I explained what I needed done (shower/tub tile regrouted in 2 bathrooms) we agreed on an appointment time for him to come evaluate the work and give me an estimate. Not only did Josh arrive on time, he was actually a few minutes early!!! Immediately, I knew that I was in luck and had found a conscientious and hard worker, and I was right. The estimate took only a few minutes, Josh quoted the price to me, while explaining exactly what he would be doing, and then provided me with a written estimate as well. We set a time for the job to be done for the following week. On the appointed day, Josh arrived, again, very promptly,(he was probably two or three minutes early) which is so unusual and appreciated, I can't remember the last time any service person arrived at my house early! He quickly set up his materials, and got right to work. The tile in both bathrooms is old and there were several areas that required more extensive grout work than we had discussed, and each time, Josh came to me and explained what he had encountered, the solution that he recommended and why, and quoted a price regarding how much the additional cost would be. He was at my house the better part of the day, and was absolutely a pleasure to talk with - he has an easygoing and friendly personality, laughs easily and often, and is an intelligent and hard working young man. When he finished, the old tile in the bathrooms looked almost new, thanks to the pristine white grout, expertly applied and carefully wiped down by Josh. His bill was slightly higher than the estimate but he had explained each of the reasons for the (small) increases and I was prepared in advance for the amount. Josh did a beautiful job, is professional yet friendly, punctual and neat....there isn't a single negative thing that I can say about him. He was a dream to work with...if only all repair jobs around my house went this smoothly and were as well done, my life would be much easier!! I highly recommend Grout Works ! *Since Grout Works completed this regrouting job for me, I have used them again, just 2 weeks ago, and I enjoyed the same great experience. Punctual, and friendly, an excellent worker, and delightful conversationalist, Josh deserves great success in his business!

Josh was prompt, pleasant ,polite and a clean cut young man. He was a hard worker and takes pride in his work. I would definetly reccomend him and I'm planning on using him to do our other bathroom.
