Grass With Class LLC

Went great, owner and team were very professional and worked quickly.

We have used Grass with Class for 4 years for our yard maintenance (and have been pleased with their service) so when we planned to undertake a massive backyard renovation we contacted them for an estimate on retaining wall, grading, and landscaping. We were debating whether to go with a stone or wood "bulkhead" style wall but after reviewing Chris' estimate for a stone wall, it seemed the way to go! We had several trees that needed to come out and a large stump - we had several tree contractors that gave us estimates but then either didn't return phone calls to schedule removal or were not available for several weeks, so Chris and his crew took out those trees and stumps as well before starting on the wall. They did a good job on the tree removal and we were glad to have them actually dug out and removed rather than stump-ground where they could create sinkholes and issues with the retaining wall in the future. The wall itself became a rather large undertaking -- it is 160' long and 5+ ft high in order to bring it up to grade - and is beautiful! They did a fantastic job on it and making sure it was built the right way so that we should never have issues with it blowing out or anything (Chris has pretty much guaranteed it for life). They built it exactly the way some of the other larger contractors in the area told us they would build a commercial retaining wall. There was a LOT of rain towards the end of this summer so we did fall behind schedule on several occasions but they worked weekends and well into the evenings to pull it together. There were several parts of our renovation that were done by other contractors (pool and deck), so after the wall was completed Grass with Class was out of the picture while those projects were being completed. They then came back in and finished grading (we now have a large, flat backyard!), installed irrigation, sod, and landscaping that includes a mix of palms, flowering bushes, a few small trees, and river rock beds. We love our new backyard!

He's a really good designer, he's a nice guy and he has really efficient workers. He recently came by to see how the plants were doing. Everything plus the sprinkler system was $14,000. It was really expensive. He also does regular lawn work. He's very much a southern and most southern has no sense of timing. It gets done but we will be there next week turns into a month later. I left a voicemail and it wasn't anything urgent but it was like did you get my message.
