It was very expensive. The total cost was outrageous.

Fortunately we had scheduled this service prior to the major ice storm and despite a two 1/2 delayed arrival they did an outstanding job. We experienced some confusion and dispute over the removal of the brush. During the quotation we process we made it clear we wanted to the brush removed because it was an eyesore from our backyard and we even had Mike, the fitness tree rep view it from our backyard so he could see exactly what we wanted done to avoid any confusion. During our proposal walk through we thought the 5' clearing from the fence line would ensure all the brush and dead vines would be removed. However, when the fence line was cleared approximately 5' some of the vines and brush connected to some other trees snapped inward further away from the 5' agreed upon. The vines and dead brush was connected to 3 other small trees not visible until the brush was cut near the 5' line. It did require the removal of 3 additional smaller trees, however, we did make it clear at the onset that the removal of the brush as well as the trees removed was our prime concern because it was a major eyesore. Notwithstanding the site supervisor said he couldn't do anymore work beyond the 5'. As a result my wife called the company office and explained the situation and they said they would send Mike, who provided the initial quote to our house to evaluate and resolve the situation. Mike responded and said the initial quote only covered a 5' clearing and was adamant that they would not remove the brush or other trees beyond the 5' clearing area. Although we were disappointed with his response, we wanted the job completed to our satisfaction I asked him how what it would take to complete the job and he said another $250. So I agreed and stayed with them on site and even assisted to ensure the job was completed. To there credit they did finish the job and made sure I was happy with the outcome. It looks great and we are happy with the final outcome. Although we both mutually agreed that a 5' clearing would have been sufficient to remove all the brush, I would recommend to anyone in the future to make sure that removal of all brush is included in your quote to eliminate any confusion. The quality of their work is not an issue as they did an excellent job and would recommend them for future work. It was unfortunate that this dispute clouded the overall experience.

Fitness Tress arrived a 7:30 AM which was a little earlier than the noon appointment scheduled. The 5 man crew worked efficiently and quickly. They left no debris and everything in the yard was returned to it's original place. I would recommend them highly. No gripes here. Great Job.

WOW! Talk about responsive, I called on 11/11 at around 10:00am. They had a man out before noon the same day. He gave me a written estimate. I called to schedule a time for the work, originally Steve asked if he could work my job in sometime over the next two weeks. Later, the same day, he called me back and asked if it would be ok if they did it the first thing the next day (11/12) because he had looked at his schedule and had another job near me. (That smart business!) The team arrive at around 7:30 the next morning (11/12) and when to work, with in an hour and a half. The work was complete and most importantly the only way you could tell they were there was that the tree and the stumps were gone. They even raked the yard! They were quite a team to watch. I would recommend them! They preformed the job as requested and left the work site better than they found it! It was very evident that this team took pride in their work! Phenomenal!!! The crew was here at the time expected, worked extremely hard, and did a fabulous job! They were professional, efficient, and when they left, you could not even tell that they were here. Our neighbors even commented on what a great job they did and how professional and neat they were. The invoice was for the exact amount of the estimate, so no surprises! Awesome job, and I wouldn't consider anyone else if I need more trees removed!! Outstanding experience!

I called Fitness on a Wednesday and the guys showed up promptly in the morning that Friday as promised. They described how the work would be done and were careful not to damage my lawn or shrubs around the tree. The tree separated at the root ball, so they had to dig it out, but they made quick work of everything and back-filled the empty hole. They raked out the dirt from my grass and blew off the driveway.

Team leader Bryan was very professional, and his experience was apparent. He had worked in NYC before coming to Wilmington about ten years ago, and had actually worked on trees in Central Park and for clients in the Hamptons. Because of his experience, I often asked for his advice, but he was sure to have me make the final decision about how much to elevate the pines. The team actually arrived before our appointment, which was not a problem since I was home and he said he would have waited anyway. The team was careful in securing and lowering heavy branches, and cleaning up afterward. The team's service went beyond what had been contracted, and they even trimmed a couple of dead branches from a nearby live oak tree. I was fully satisfied with their work.

It went well. They arrived at 7:30 and were cleaned up by 11:15. Needed to move truck but battery was dead-they supplied their truck and workman to fix! I wanted some of the wood from the oak tree which they cut up and piled for me. I had over a dozen mostly large trees so it was quite an extensive job . Next time it will be clearing other side of the ditch!!!

They did a thorough job including clean up. Very satisfied and would call them back again. Actually, we have used them multiple times and have recommended their services over and over again.

I've used Fitness Tree in the past and definitely will again. The quote was very reasonable and the work was on time and excellent. The crew was very professional and able to adjust to a few last minute request changes without any issues. Yard was cleaned up when they left and the work looks great.

They were great! The entire crew was friendly and polite. The tree removal was fascinating to watch. Truly professional! He knew exactly how to cut it down so that the roof was never touched and the gardenia bushes, which were within inches of each tree, were untouched as well. They cleaned up all the mess and left the place looking great. All this in about 2 and 1/2 hours. I'll definitely use them again for maintenance of the trees on our lot. I'd recommend them to everyone!

It went great ! Four man ground crew showed up on time, worked efficiently all day long. Brought two stump grinders, chainsaws, bush hog and the chipper truck. I believe the hauled off 4 or 5 truck loads of chips. The crew was professional. polite, and easy to work with. They rake the stump holes down and cleaned up after they were finished. I would use them again.

Outstanding work, did not have to say a word to anyone about a thing. They came on time, worked quickly, cleaned up and it was totally mindless on my part. Awesome. I would trust them doing anything in their scope of work.

arrived on date and time promised, completed the job without stopping, cleaned-up and were gone in about 2 hours. Fast, hard workers.

This crew of 5 worked with great skill and speed. They brought down 1 large oak, 1 large pine and 1 small pine with great precision, avoiding all surrounding obstacles. This work was done without the use of a truck which would not have fit well in the space. (2 other companies that gave estimates said they would need the truck because of all of the surrounding items that could have been damaged.) I've had tree work done a couple of times in the past, and this was by far the smoothest, cleanest job. At no time was I worried about anything getting damaged. In addition to the tree work, the clean up was superb. I asked to keep the mulched limbs, and not only did they agree, but the guys spent their wait time spreading the mulch rather than just leaving it in a pile. I also asked to have the wood cut into firewood, which they did, and nicely stacked.

I had picked out one palm and they taged it for me so I could have my spouse come and check it out before we purchased. We also picked and purchased another palm tree at this second visit.

Fitness Tree provided an estimate for the job in a prompt and efficient manner. Once I agreed to the offer, we set a time and date for the work. The company arrived exactly on time on the agreed upon date. They had all the equipment and workers needed to complete the job. They worked very efficiently to trim the specified branches. As soon as a branch was cut, workers on the ground gathered up all the material and fed it into a shredder which they had brought with them. During the process, the foreman of the crew consulted with me to decide which branches to leave and which to cut. The whole process was completed within a hour. The tree looks great. No trash whatsoever was left on the ground. It was am absolute pleasure doing business with Fitness Tree.

The employee's were punctual and professional. .A Clean yard greeted me upon my return . My boyfriend was there during the operation and was very impressed by their services. Recommended.

Overall, it was a breeze. These trees were close to my house, but no worries!

They were excellent. Their pricing depends on the tree. He has tremendous amount of equipment, has a good crew, cleans up and leaves things the way he finds it and he is ensured. He stands in his price. When he tells you he'll be there at 7:30 or 8:00 and he's there and if couldn't come because of rain or anything, he calls.

The entire crew was professional, courteous, and efficient. The seven trees were down, yards cleaned up, stumps ground, and even the street was swept all in less than 5 hours. It was an amazing, well organized operation. The price for us was low, we think, because the crews were already in the area. We can't say enough good things about this company and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs tree removal.

They started at 7:30am - 16 crew and 6 trucks and were done and power washing my driveway by 2pm the week after giving me the quote! They used pads and sheets so as not to destroy my yard. This is the third time I have used Fitness Tree - for a reason!

clean professional service and a good value

excellent. I had three quotes and Fitness was in the middle, but they were the most professional and timely in their dealings. The low quote company took 4 days to get back to me w/ a quote, and both the high quote and the low quote were not as professional in their interactions - too much chit-chat and trying to be buddies. I'm busy and have things to do... come when you say you will, do what you have to do, be personable/curteous, and then be gone. Fitness Tree service was all of that... and my neighbor got a deal b/c he asked them to lop a few limbs off some pine trees in his back yard as well since they were there... it pays to bundle if you have a neighbor who needs work as well.
