They are two men who have worked together for several years. When I called them they came the next day to look at the job, hear what we needed and they gave us an estimate before leaving that day. I had been reluctant to hire interior painters because I do a lot of it myself and because of the expense. But they convinced me that oil would be a much better choice than acrylic for our job (which I didn't want to use myself, nor did I want to tackle the trim in any case) and also that their quality was high. I believed them and was very satisfied with their job. We allowed them to paint while we were out of town which worked very well for everyone - helping them finish more quickly and avoid pet hair and confusion. There were a few really small things that bothered me, but I want to be clear that these are not things that would prevent me from hiring them in the future and are only things to note if you choose to call them, to help your experience go as smoothly as possible. They showed up really early for the estimate visit. They apologized for that but I wasn't ready and it threw me off. And when I got home from being away and inspected the job I found a small bit of paint splatter on the floor. When I called them about this they seemed very surprised and had questions for me about it, as if they never make any mistakes like that. While I appreciate that they are perfectionists (it's why we hired them), the tone of the conversation was off-putting. As was their leaving us two messages on Sunday to call them back. I really appreciate when people don't assume that you do business on Sunday. But they promptly came to clean up the paint (still wondering how it could have happened), they were very professional about it, I paid them and that was that. Again, I only mention these things to help you avoid any potential bumps. Their work is beautiful.
