Do not use. Do not use. Based on the information I provided Few Moves online agent I received a written estimate for a move from Connecticut to Raleigh North Carolina on the understanding that I did not have a set date to move as my house was yet to sell. I was told I could lock in the cost estimate by paying a refundable deposit of $3000. A place hold was confirmed in writing with an arbitrary date for the move. No actual move date was arranged. On the arbitrary date written on the contract I received a call from Few Moves saying their moving truck was on the way. I explained that no moving date had been made and that the date in the contract was clearly for a place hold. The administrator was surprised but said we had to surrender the deposit. When I tried to contact the agent who had drawn up the contract there was no reply and I later discovered he was no longer with the company. The only way to contact Few Moves was through email - to which no one responded - or by their online phone number which was answered by an administrator. The administrator then claimed my wife had lied to them and said we were moving and that we had sold our house. Neither true. Then the administrator said she would speak the the owner. The owner told her to tell us that we had lost the deposit. I asked to speak to the owner who refused to speak to me. I then received an unsigned email accusing myself and my wife of lying, stating that we had failed to meet the terms of the contract and that Few Moves would not refund the deposit. All further emails and phone calls by myself to Few Moves were unanswered . I contacted an attorney who wrote the owner. Attorney received no response. Attorney advised me to take the matter to the NC Small Claims court.

Don't use this company. Sales portion went well- he's no longer with the company. Movers were late, only sent two men, packing took over 6 hours (and I had to help dolly boxes). This made me late leaving for the first leg of the journey- I had to make the drive over two days. The movers made the long drive the same day as the packing because they wanted to be home to party- I thought there were rules about how many hours could be worked/driven?? They showed up hungover to unpack my items. Upon finding damages, I placed a claim. I purchased full coverage. After numerous emails, sending photos, etc. to Nicole Small I finally received a reply- denial because "the furniture was wrapped". Which is not true for many of the items. The fight goes on. Do not use this company

Amazing…these guys are top notch. This is the second large aquarium this year they have handled for me. Both had unique challenges but this time they had to bring in a 12 foot long 1500lb glass aquarium off a 42” high teuck bed, through a narrow entryway and over a reception desk. After scheduling two different moving companies I ended up going back to the first place I checked out, which is Few Moves. I was reluctant to use movers as I had not done so before. I'd only used U-hauls. I called and talked to Matt. He was able to fit me in the schedule last minute. I got a more than reasonable quote of $1083 which was the cheapest of the companies I researched. Marcus G and Dakota arrived at 8 am sharp, 15 minutes early. They were very friendly and professional and handled all my items with more than enough care. They even wrapped my entertainment center in blankets and tape. They also made packing and loading the truck and car a fun experience rather than boring. After the truck was loaded in roughly an hour, they headed for Cary. I left shortly afterwards in my own car. They got to the new apartment about ten minutes after me. They got the truck unloaded and just told me they'll even help me unload my car and not to worry about it. After everything was done, we realized my bed frame was still at my old apartment. Slight snag but nothing major. I was at my old apartment today to clean up. Marcus G came back and took the frame apart and drove it up to Cary. After arriving promptly assembled it and even helped me put up my medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Cannot say enough good things about the team I had. If I move again I will most certainly hire Few Moves again.

Day 1: Packing - Due to the fact I was spending good money to hire packers, I did not pay attention to the job they were doing. Day 2: (Driver is different and the 2 packers did not go to Raleigh). After looking around the previous night, there were so many things that weren't packed and I kept having to point them out. I was trying to clean up but had to oversee the movers at the same time. We asked for a box for my flat screen TV and we got nothing other than a blanket draped over it. I was getting highly irritated that I had to oversee everything, why would I bother to hire someone? Raleigh: We get there and the movers are unloading into a storage unit and I was literally having a heart attack after seeing how my belongings were packed. They had blankets draped over them. Things were thrown around and not packed (a bunch of things including my espresso maker and coffee maker just thrown into a trash can). Nothing was done with care. The Raleigh movers then started to take more care and wrap things up and carefully pack the items in my storage until. In the meantime, I called the owner highly upset and he sent the Raleigh Manager over. I explained my story and he made a lot of excuses and didn't take responsibility that these packers and movers were not trained. Anyway, they did a seemingly good job unloading everything in the storage unit. I was thanking the manager and I heard one of the movers mention a cash tip, now seriously after everything do you think I am going to give anyone a cash tip. To even hear that was just immature. I received the invoice and to my dismay there was no credit given for the horrible experience. I thought that might be the case. An added note: The truck displays 5 Caucasian clean cut men for the slogan clean cut moves. It really doesn't depict the people who are actually doing the work. I hired other movers to move me into my Apartment and again saw so many failures in packing, so very disappointing. I have moved too many times and it has always gone very well. Everything went as planned.

Young guys who moved us were very nice, clean cut,and friendly. Broke a marble top to a triple dresser. Admitted responsibility. We were told they should know the proper way to carry a large piece of marble. Emailed a form to fill out. We were not able to print the form. They said all they needed was the weight. So my 67 year old husband and I were supposed to pick up and weigh a giant piece of marble...well, actually 2 pieces of marble now. So someone came out and thought he'd pick it up and weight it and put it in his car. When he realized that wouldn't work, he decided to fix it. He went to the hardware store. Moved the dresser, taped it up, and put some gunk on it. Said he'd come back the next afternoon to finish the job. Didn't show the next day, didn't call. Left my bedroom torn apart for over a week. Someone finally returned our call and said they'd be out the next dqy at 1:00. No one called, no one showed up. Now I have a mess, my husband and I can't move this heavy furniture, and it looks like crap. I thought I was being nice by agreeing to a Diy lousy fix, and not mentioning the scratches they put in my brand new floors.

They did it quickly and carefully, no scratches and it didn't hit any walls. They were awesome.

Had some problems but got it worked out later.

I emailed provider thru angie's list and never heard from them.

It went horribly. Both my husband and myself were in the Navy and have over 25 moves between the two of us. This was my worst moving experience ever, and I have had a lot of horrible moving experiences. They took no inventory since it was a and quot;localand quot; move Some items were missing but with no inventory there was no way to resolve the problem. They packed fragile family mementos with heavy kitchen items. It was purely luck that nothing was broken. They ripped the vinyl flooring in my new home while putting in the washer and dryer. Rather than taking responsibility to replace the flooring they ripped (which I had to do...see positive Floorz to your Doorz review) I had to hire someone to replace my flooring. Few Moves tried to hide the rips by glueing them down. When I called to complain, they said it wasn't a big deal. I discovered when I kept shrinking my husbands work shirts that Few Moves hooked the hot water to the cold and vice versa when they installed the washing machine! Hundreds of dollars of shirts ruined before I discovered what they had done. I could go on, but my point is if you want a pleasant moving experience go somewhere else. I know they have lots of other positive reviews, but as a veteran mover, I tell you there ARE many much better companies to choose. We were referred to Few moves, and I am still friends with the referrer, barely. ;)

Crew arrived 30 minutes late with no notification. Moves all worked very hard and padded floors to move appliances. Some walls were scratched however. Crew took a 1 hour lunch between loads, but only deducted 30 min from the hourly bill. Multiple glassware items were damaged as boxes listed as fragile were found to be under heavy piles of boxes. Some of our plastic storage/drawer furniture was damaged because heavy boxes were stacked on top of them after telling them not to do so. Overall good crew and very hard workers, but charge double the hourly rate that some other crews online charge, and for that price I don't expect damaged walls and damaged items. Also was charged $30 for a cardboard box that did not even properly fit the 70and quot; TV they were moving.

They were professional, arrived on time, and were quick but also careful with our things. They didn't mark up the walls or break anything. They also provided unloading for my mother and she was very happy with them as well.

Their work was great! Most movers in the past threw my items around as if they didnt care but all of Few Moves employees treated my items as if they were their own.

They made the move within a week of my initial contact. The movers arrived on time, worked very efficiently, and were very careful with my things. They were courteous and professional. They asked what I wanted and then did exactly as I said. I cannot think of anything else I could have wanted. The price was right, too. I would definitely recommend them!

This company was very professional and completed the job quickly. The price was also great given the travel and the two men that had to stop by. I highly recommend them.
