I had a horrible flea infestation early this summer -- flea foggers produced no noticeable effect, and although vacuuming, shampooing the carpets, and various liquid sprays reduced the numbers for a few days, the fleas would come right back. Finally I checked Angie's List and called Economy Exterminators. I talked to Judy on the phone; she offered some advice for a few more home remedies for me to try, but when I called back and said I needed professional exterminators, she promptly scheduled the first treatment for the house, and told me an approximate cost which would be charged no matter how many times they had to come back to fix the problem. The guy who came out the first time was very helpful. He helped me move a couple of heavy items to get as much off the floors as possible before spraying, and he told me about treatment options to pass along to my relative, who brings her dog on visits. He explained the procedures thoroughly. A different guy came for the two follow-up treatments, and he was also friendly and courteous. I proceeded with the daily vacuumings, as recommended. The morning after the first treatment, I saw a few fleas, and I saw a few more within the next day or so, but after that, there was nothing. I kept vacuuming. EE came back for a follow-up spraying the next week, and another follow-up about a week and a half later, but I've seen no fleas at all. I am very happy. I had already spent at least that as much money on various home pesticides plus renting the carpet shampooer as I did paying EE. I'd recommend Economy Exterminators to anyone.

I had reported to Angie's List that I had received poor service and wrongful billing from this company. I was almost immediately contacted by the regional manager Scott Szabo. He was very persistent in trying to reach me both by phone and email and offered to refund to me all of my expenses incurred and come out to perform another service at no charge. I did not take him up on the offer for another service call as I have already had another company take care of it. However I think he does deserve considerable credit for doing everything he could do to rectify the situation and turn me from an unhappy customer into someone who may use his company again. He reimbursed me totally the for funds I had spent and as I did not ask him for the free service - he instead sent a gift card for a very nice local restaurant. I could not have asked for more - and he has won my respect for being a considerate conscientious professional.

Their quality is excellent. I worked mainly with Scott. He is prompt and courteous. He answers my questions. I am very pleased with the service.

I had a good experience. The company representative was very professional. He came early to begin the work. He worked diligently until the job was done. He cleaned out the crawl space as promised. He put down the barrier. His job was to clean out the crawlspace and install barrier, but he did much more. He put back into place the insulation that had fallen from the floor joists. He told me there was mold on some of the wood. He provided before and after pictures via email on the day the job was completed. As I told him, "Now, I can go into the crawl space without getting dirty." Before, I had to call a plumber to go into the crawIspace to check for broken pipes or leaks. Now I can save money and do it myself. I didn't think I needed this type of service, but after the job was done, it was well worth it.

An appointment was made to evaluate a problem and a few weeks later they came and performed the work. Everything looked great.
